Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IndonesiaThere is a (huge) extra charge if you want to switch the same type of room with a different bed, in my case switch from two medium beds to a single large bed. The beds and pillow are a little bit dirty

MalaysiaIt's an old hotel, so please don't expect much. The hotel is suitable for those on a budget or just need a place to sleep before continue on your journey. But if you want a relaxing vacation, this might not be the hotel for you.
Within walking distance to train station and malls. Clean and comfy enough for the price that I paid. Recommended for 1-2 night stay

EgyptThe hotel is too old and needs many facilities There's no windo on the room so the smell is too bad even on bathroom, the blanket wasn't clean her smell was hell the air conditioner remote battery was so old I ask the loopy twice to come to turn off or on and the breakfast meal was the same for 3 day's that's really owfl There is no full bed, just a mattress lying on the floor so it wasn't comfortable and it's not cheap on price after all of that I never recommend this at all

NetherlandsThe room was not clean. There was a cockroach running around and it finally disappeared under the bed. The bedspread and the blanket were not clean because I found a hair on the blanket so we did not use it. We put the towel in bed and we slept on it.
the price was quite low so we did not expect much for a hotel, but we expected at least a clean room without a cockroach especially a clean bed. The breakfast was delivered early which was good. The location of the hotel is nearby a train station and not too far from the mall.

SpainThe receptionist didn't speak any English (or he didn't tried to) and wasn't helpful at all. I understand that not everybody has to speak English in Indonesia but there is Google Translate to communicate with the guests. He told me I could have breakfast at 6:00 and the next morning he said that it wasn't until 7:00. I had to leave without having my included breakfast, after not having dinner the previous night, something he knew. He told me there was an elevator. Another lie. Worst service in Indonesia so far. The PICTURES in booking DON'T SHOW THE REALITY OF THE PLACE. It's an old dirty hotel. The assigned room was scary and disgusting: dirty sheets, walls and floor. The air-conditioning and the headboard were damaged. I asked for a change and the room was slightly better. CHOOSE ANOTHER PLACE!
