I don’t know where to begin because everything was amazing. Arriving felt like a little oasis away from the Bali-buzz. Away from the Main Street it was very quiet even with a little construction around throughout the day. And you are still only 2 min away from the Main Street with a Scooter. They also offer Scooter Rental and Helmets. Breakfast was really nice and a la card. For the tent: you don’t only have this huge tent, it is also fenced so that you have your own garden. Which I enjoyed a lot as it gave me the opportunity to just be and relax. Staff was really outstanding. No matter which question I had they were there to answer/help in no time. Can only recommend this special place

I must say that the stay exceeded all my expectations. Spectacular tents with excellent amenities that let you feel connected to the nature. Housekeeping was amazing and they even have a turndown service and place some mosquito coils around your tent so you can sleep comfortably. We also really enjoyed using yoga barn they have on the property, you can ask for mats. Excellent location which is close to lots of amazing restaurants and beach clubs. But I must say the best part of the stay was the hotel staff which surrounded us with so much care and attention, it was amazing! They truly have a fantastic team but I would like to extend special thank you to Wawan and Hunger, they are absolute gems that went above and beyond during our stay. Thank you so much for making our stay so comfortable and memorable. Definitely will be coming back!

There we so many centipedes, but it is “glamping” after all, so just watch where you’re stepping.

The stay was amazing. The staff were wonderful and there were so many lovely personal touches; our dog even got a whole goodie bag of treats and toys to play with, as well as a very comfortable doggie bed. The whole concept of the place is very thoughtful.

However, we encountered an issue with mosquitoes that seemed more prevalent here than at other places we've stayed during our month in Bali. Additionally, while our room was clean and well-maintained, we found the cleanliness in the dining area to be lacking and in need of improvement.

We recently stayed at Origin Uluwatu and found it to be a mixed bag of delights and challenges. The garden is a lush paradise, creating a serene atmosphere that invites relaxation. The spacious accommodation impressed us with ample room to unwind, complemented by a lovely private pool that was the highlight of our stay. The location of Origin Uluwatu is quite convenient, with easy access to the beach via a quick Grab ride. Culinary-wise, the food met our expectations with tasty offerings, and the variety of breakfast options provided a great start to each day. The team at Origin Uluwatu are commendable — a group of good lads who were always willing to assist. With some attention to pest control and a stricter cleaning regimen in the communal areas, I believe Origin Uluwatu could truly be an exceptional place to stay. I would still recommend it to those looking for spacious, private accommodations in Uluwatu.

Nothing to dislike. I saw comments and complaints about construction noise but we never heard anything crazy, let alone something that would prevent us to sleep.

Having a private pool did mean there were some mosquitos around. The team tried to manage this well as part of the turn-down service. Breakfast options were sufficient and varied, but simple. Coffee was great!

The Origin team ensured we had a great experience during our stay. They went out of their way to accommodate our little one, preparing special meals and even arranging an infant helmet. The overall setup is very spacious and green. We had a garden tent with pool was very nice; it provided a private space to relax and take a dip when we wanted.

The fact that there was simply no hot water either in the shower or the bathtub. We couldnt even use the bathtub. Lighting in the villas could be better Also that the check in time is 2pm and check out is 12pm does not even equate to me paying for 24 hours

Breakfast was lovely. The villas were spacious and comfortable. Hanga, Roshita and Ah Wan made our stay better by their warmth and hospitality

There is a bit of construction around the area which can get a bit noisy. The hotel offers earplugs to help manage, although we didn’t need them and didn’t bother us too much.

We just loved the minute we walked in. We were welcomed by the staff with a refreshing drink to help with the heat of the day. The common areas were very spacious and well looked after. The pool and the fire pit were the stars for our children. They could roast marshmallows at sunset. The family “tent” was impressive, we enjoyed our own private pool, the main room was very big, with a king size bed very comfortable. The second room was good in size perfect for our 2 little kids, who enjoyed having their own tv and private bathroom. The staff is amazing, really care about their customers, very knowledgeable about the area (where to go, restaurants, beach..) even keeping us updated about traffic conditions on the day of our departure, making sure we will get to the airport on time.

Lots of bugs but that’s just Indonesia

Overall stay at origin was perfect. Service was top. Wawan, Hangga and all the staff went up and beyond! Room was comfortable with a huge bed. Bathrooms was outside so beware of creepy crawlies. But the real glamping feeling, especially with the marshmallows available at the fireplace. Place also had nice hammocks and pool to relax in. Breakfast was super good too, had gluten free options. would 100% recommend!

There is almost nothing bad to say... We had quite a lot of mosquitoes congregating in our outdoor bathroom area, and the open wardrobe/storage for the luggage was also in this area. For some reason the mosquitoes loved to hang out in our suitcases so when we opened them clouds of mozzies would come out. I realize it's hard to control mosquitoes in an outdoor area in a tropical climate, but perhaps the wardrobe needs to be enclosed. The surrounding area was quite noisy day and night but we were kindly provided earplugs. At night the noises are from nature - dogs, roosters, geckos, frogs etc. so it didn't really bother us, I quite enjoyed the ambient sounds. The construction noise during the day was a bit unfortunate but with so much development happening all around Uluwatu at the moment, it's hard to escape. I think a retractable clothes line would also be a very useful addition to the rooms to dry all of the wet items you end up with.

We loved staying at Origin! So much so we extended our booking by an extra two nights. We made a last minute booking here after having to leave previous accommodations in Uluwatu due to the pool being filthy. From the moment we arrived, several hours before check in opened, the staff were so welcoming. Invited us to swim straight away and had our room ready within an hour - the pool was lovely and clean! The property was unexpectedly awesome with our toddler. So much space for him to run around and play. The equipment in the "Surf Shack" provided lots of entertainment for him. The "tents" were so spacious and comfortable, more like bungalows than any tent I've ever stayed in before. The air conditioner was very effective at keeping the room cool. The water tower in our room was such a blessing with chilled water available whenever we needed. All of the power points in the room were internationally compatible, that was a great convenience. The staff were phenomenal, so attentive and kind. The included breakfast was above and beyond our expectations. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends, especially if traveling with children.

Amazing staff on top, we feel like home. Staff and manager are really efficient, professionals, and always available for the guests. Good breakfast, the villas are well decorated and spacious, we really appreciate to have a water dispenser to avoid buying plastic bottles. Thank you 🙏
