The gym was nice but is on the smaller side. Also the location is a bit out of the way, about 45 minutes drive from Ubud, so just have to prepare the itinerary for that.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. We stayed in about 6-7 different hotels and this was by far the best. Everything is top notch. The property is beautiful and the views are stunning. The rooms were spacious, cozy and luxurious. The staff was super friendly, accommodating and was one of the few places in Indonesia where everyone could communicate in English well and act professionally. The restaurants were delicious, the pool is fantastic. We did the floating breakfast and that was awesome. Drinks & happy hour were amazing. If you’re stuck deciding on a place in Bali I promise you won’t regret coming here.

- it is a bit far, as the hotel is not really in Ubud, so the name of the hotel "Padma Ubud" is a bit misleading - they offer free shuttle rides to Ubud several times a day, as well as can organize a taxi for you (however, the prices for their taxis are extremely high - you pay 1/4 if not less if you use Grab) - despite being a bit far, the hotel is still great, and can highly recommend it

- great hotel for families - many activites included (for example we loved feeding the fish or fishing and then feeding the otters, etc.) - yoga classes were great - super nice pool area - staff in general was amazing, very kind and professional - nice pastry and shisha area - great breakfast buffet

Kitchen is normal, I may say, could be a little bit better for such kind of prices. Also cocktails. Room’s noise insulation should be better, required to be improved. During the night may hear in the room all the noises around. Nothings is around, only jungle. Nearest city UBUD - one hour traveling by hotel’s shuttle, but the sits are limited. So, couple of times we used taxi driver with charges. I recommend to use taxi from apps, because hotel’s drivers twice expensive.

The setting of the hotel is fantastic, the surroundings simply beautiful. The infinity pool was amazing with stunning views. We preferred the pool restaurant to the main Puhu restaurant although not as much choice. The Spa was lovely and providing a free shuttle into Ubud was helpful.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Everybody at the hotel is friendly and helpful. The hotel is perfect for families, nice kidsclub, feeding of the animals at the animal farm, fishing. I loved the yoga sessions and also archery was a lot of fun. One of the biggest buffet breakfasts I have ever seen. My husband had an ear infection, they went the extra mile, they organized a doctor who came to the hotel and the butler brought flowers and a get-well card the next day

While the resort itself was flawless, the presence of rubbish in the local area near the resort was disheartening. It's a reminder of the broader environmental challenges facing Bali. Initiatives to eliminate plastic waste and clean up this beautiful island would greatly enhance not only the aesthetic appeal of the local area but also contribute to the sustainability of Bali's natural environment.

Our stay at Padma Resort Ubud was exceptionally memorable, thanks to the incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming staff. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, making our experience truly wonderful. The Butler service was notably outstanding, offering attentive care that exceeded our expectations. Whether it was providing turn-down service or preparing a bath for our return from a day of exploration in Ubud, no request was too difficult for them to fulfill. The range of activities offered by the resort significantly enhanced our stay. We particularly enjoyed the aerial yoga, the immersive Bali voyage, and the exhilarating Jungle Trekking. Each activity was well-organized and provided a unique way to experience the beauty and culture of Bali. The spa deserves a special mention for its exceptional services.
