Swimming pool has no shady spot (just to be clear: when in the water). On the side are chairs with umbrellas.

Location is great since near to the beach. Nice authentic atmosphere. Comfortable and clean rooms. Friendly and helpfull staff.

Very good breakfast from local coffee shop, very good location- so close to beach , very nice swimming pool. In your room you have minibar. There is bookcase at reception and at room if you are passionable reader .

I don't like hotels where I can hear the people in the other rooms closing their doors and cupboards and drawers loudly, and walking loudly, and loud squeaking when furniture gets moved along the floor. It's unfortunate Causing very loud vibrations and startling bangs. We specifically requested the upstairs to avoid heavy walkers, but even with this, the other loud sounds were still coming from next to us and downstairs. Since some people don't seem to be aware how loud they live, it would be great if hotels would put those felt pads on doors and furniture legs to cut down the transfer of loud banging between rooms. The hotel Wifi cut out a lot so it was sometimes difficult to even send an email. We started using the restaurant Wifi as our room was close enough to pick up the signal. That Wifi worked great.

We liked our room for the size and cleanliness. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the patio as well. It was comfortable and gave us even more space to use. The location is also great to lots of restaurants and cafes and the path along the sea. The hotel cafe had good cappuccinos and the food was decent. The cafe Wifi is also good. It was quiet at night once people went to bed. Nice pool and sunbeds as well.

Been staying at Palm Garden for many years, multiple stays per year. As usual the staff at the Hotel are amazing. However the restaurant has been sub-let to an outside franchise. That does NOT have anything to do with hotel.!! Yet they use photos of Hotel pool and Gardens to promote their cafe business on their cafe website. Very strange arrangement Hotel guests have no privacy from cafe patrons. Guests sitting around the pool being observed like zoo exhibits by cafe patrons. Nothing to stop randoms from jumping into the hotel pool. No signs saying pool for use of Hotel guests only , and no security or signs telling cafe patrons that the garden and Hotel are for Hotel Guests only, so they are free to rome around the Hotel rooms area. Restaurant open from 7am till 11pm with all expected lights and music and kitchen noise. Not too busy as just opened, but....?? Cafe owners have also taken over responsibility for cleaning the garden toilets that were used by Hotel guests while at the pool in the past. Now for cafe patrons too. Cleaning far from the previous standard.. awful in fact. Hotel guests in upstairs rooms such as we were, left with only option but to trek up to room to use our room bathrooms when poolside. Our peaceful haven no more. Atmosphere different. We will be watching with interest how this arrangement proceeds before choosing to stay again.😥

Hotel rooms are dated but considering price we paid it was perfect

Rooms are a very good size, great shower hot water Very good a/c , perfect location close to beach and restaurant’s Gardens and swimming pool were immaculate Friendly, helpful staff free water replaced and rooms cleaned every day Had a lovely 14 nights here hopefully be back next year

Perfect location! It’s an older style hotel but the rooms were spotless and the gardens absolutely immaculate It’s so peaceful inside the hotel, we spent so much time just relaxing on the balcony and enjoying the serenity!

This hotel has an intimate feel and is quiet and peaceful. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and the location is just a short walk to the beachfront. Great value!
