The breakfast. Little space and people need to wait to get a table. They even have a reserved section tat people cant eat there. With no information how to reserved it. (first time I encountered reserved place at breakfast time )

In the middle of a workweek, I had music blaring into my room (the balcony doors were not properly sealed) from the DJ/music club by the pool a floor below. While not the best situation, the hotel had promised it'd end by 830pm, so that was fine -- until the music kept going. When I called the front desk, they informed me that the music would actually continue through 10pm (and one night it went to 11pm). Not great for a traveler on a work trip.

The fact that this hotel was connected to the Pentacity Mall was convenient.

Compare to other hotel with same price around balikpapan.. value for money was not good..small room for 80$/night hotel.. only serve indonesian style breakfast that so salty..pastry was limited..waitress never offer me coffee for my 4 days stay..

Hotel location is nice and convenient, great place for family, and staffs were polite and friendly. However, when we supposed to check in by 2pm, till 4 pm we had not have our room on the date of arrival. In Family Room, at Small Pantry area, had a lot of ANTs as well as Main Room, at the coffee machine area. Someone had come to check the ants, but no action taken thus room still had a lot of ants, even though we did not bring any food to the room. Bathroom, showering area were not well covered, resulting water splashing out during shower, and causing floor wet and slippery. It was dangerous for kids and old people.

Unfortunately, the swimming pool and spa's opening had been delayed - which were the main reasons for choosing this hotel. But, as stated above, the staff and manager were extremely apologetic and went out of their way to suggest alternatives to make up for my disappointment. At the weekends the hotel is full of families, and there are hardly any sunloungers around the waterpark. There was no room to sit on the tiny room balconies.

The staff, especially the Duty Manager, Erik, and the receptionists, were incredibly friendly and helpful. I felt comfortable from the moment I entered the reception area - particularly as a solo traveler. The food was good and varied and my room was clean and relaxing.

Buffet spread at breakfast was dismal

Old hotel which has been renovated nicely so the rooms are spacious and have lots of light. It's centrally located and right next to the shopping mall which is connected via an annex.

The room too small for tht such price n the worst is the shower area too too small n w/out door also so when shower all water splash everywher make the toilet room all wet including the toilet seat ..ridiculuos

Corridor was not air-conditioned. Acoustic not very good. Breakfast was crowded, egg station didn't really keep up with orders. The bathroom was not properly planned out as it gets flooded every time someone takes a shower and there is not enough clothes hanger to hang your clothes, to avoid it from getting very wet.

On top of a big shopping mall, so it's very convenient. A good place to stay to enjoy the mall. We got 1 hour extra checkout time. We are allowed to park just at the hotel's entrance, although we need to move it due to the heat. I don't think there is valet service for hotel guests. Breakfast was pretty good with many varieties.

The staff, who is in the reception is very rude, typical stereotyping of guest, he told me that other guest argue that they wanted to check in by 12:00, I told him I knew check in time is at 14:00 and he do not need to explain it to me, but he persisted on telling me abt it because other guest argued abt it. When checking out, I saw the receptionist again, ask for his manager, apparently he is e commerce dept and not reception at all. He called the manager, and he answered me that its his pleasure to call the manager for me (he could just say the manager is on his way) also he states that guest like me (who is not pleased at his attitude) are common and I told him judging by the way your attitude is, I would not be surprised.

So hard to find, parking slot during the weekend, really noisy because they are still in progress build another room, at night time on weekend you can hearing the live music very loudly around the building , the room connect with connecting door and you can still hearing the sound of your neighbor.
