Absolutely beautiful view, great value, amazing food, absolutely perfect!

I chose this homestay due to the many great reviews and I must say I was not disappointed. This was my fourth visit to Sidemen and I wish I had found this sooner. It is truly incredible! The room was large and spotlessly clean and the bed so comfortable. The view is arguably the best in Sidemen. My balcony was overlooking the rice paddies and out to Mount Agung. I sat there for literal hours just watching everything. The staff are so lovely and accommodating and the breakfast was delicious. I noticed some reviews mentioned noise, I didn't experience this during my stay but my top tip for travelling in Bali is to always take a good pair of earplugs with you even when travelling to remote places. I cannot recommend this homestay highly enough. I'm already planning my next visit!

FYI: a little far to walk to warungs, so better to have a motorbike or bicycle to get around. (but great to stay if you just plan on relaxing and enjoying the view, or if you're driving)

The view is amazing, right on the rice fields. Only three rooms with a small courtyard between the rooms on the ground floor. The breakfast was filling and delicious, Comfortable bed and room was clean. No problems at all. An entrance to rice fields not far from here. The staff is lovely and welcoming!

I loved my stay at Bukit Luah, the family were kind and helpful and the guesthouse itself was lovely and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The food was lovely and the view from the terrace made this property exceptional! I’ll definitely be back.

Everything was excellent!

The most amazing view of the rice fields! Lovely guesthouse with really kind hosts. Do not be put off by the guesthouse title though, the rooms are excellent, had the only consistent hot water showers of our whole trip and the restaurant/food they cook was incredible with the ingredients grown in the garden. Would highly recommend staying here while in sidemen, location is excellent to all local facilities and can trek the rice fields directly from the hotel.

One of the best places we’ve stayed in Indonesia. The best view in Sidemen, for sure ! The best family as well, so helpful and friendly ! The cuisine is delicious as well and you can enjoy it from your terrace with the best views of the rice fields and Mount Agung.

The Owner, Pak Gede Tama & Istri are super friendly. Rice field view in front of room so refreshing. Room & bathroom is clean & big Breakfast menu has Balinese or Western and tastes delicious! I feel recharge again after staying at Bukit Luah I recommended Bukit Luah for you guys for staying at Sidemen. I'll be back

This place has been the most beautiful and well organsised stay where I have been in all my life. Opening you curtains to and seeing this beautiful painting was on thing, but the familie who manages it are very kind, friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the son of the owners: yoga. Who I did an beautiful trekking with true the rice fields.

The view was the biggest seller for me but the family that runs it was my favorite. Their son Yoga was very helpful with anything I needed. He was also my local guide/driver. Very safe driver so if you need help getting around. The rice paddy’s were right outside the property if you wanted to walk around, plus there was a river close by that helped stay cool. The room I chose overlooked the mountains and rice fields, it had a huge shower, a vanity, plenty of space for luggage. And my favorite, slippers for walking around the room.

I picked Bukit Luah because I saw photos of rice fields, but photos can't show the true beauty of this place. I could just sit on the terrace and look at the amazing view. The host is very friendly and nice. Tasty food and a clean room. If I ever go to Bali and Sidemen again, I won't look for another place to stay—I will book directly Bukit Luah.

I absolutely loved my stay at Gede's homestay! The view is stunning and it's just an amazing place to relax. Food is so tasty and Gede and his family are very lovely. Yoga, his son, showed me Sidemen and the surrounding areas. Would definitely come back!
