Absolutely loved it. A beautiful and very spacious villa with an infinity pool overlooking the jungle. Both room and bed were massive, plenty of sitting areas outside, breathtaking views, so peaceful. The staff were all very lovely and helpful. The place was spotless.

Be aware you're out in the open in a forest, so small animals around the property are to be expected!

Beautiful villas, overlooking the forest. We had our own private pool and very comfortable and spacious accommodation. The staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. They can help with any transfers or questions about the area. Our breakfast was included, and was super tasty and filling, with multiple options to choose from. The location is a bit far from Ubud centre, but that also means it's a lot quieter. Transportation to/from Ubud is cheap, but can be long depending on traffic. I would definitely recommend this place!

There is generally a lot of traffic in the center of Ubud so by taxi, you get stock for ages to get anywhere

We loved the view onto the jungle from our infinity pool and the floating breakfast was fabulous. The driver was excellent and took us around various places North of Bali.

Out of the 4 towels we had, all of them were full of stains. They smelled clean but 4 stained towels out of 4 in this kind of hotel is a little shame. Otherwise nothing to complain about, the place is great and also the staff.

You do need to have a scooter to get to the center of ubud but we didn't mind it. We only wish the chairs in the patio could be more comfortable and that the breakfast would be served in the room.

Very nice people, the villa is beautiful with a nice view on the valley jungle and a nice pool. Great place, definitely recommend.

Breakfast portions were bit small and had to preordered a night before. (Taste was great, can’t deny that). Water in bathroom took time to drain but facilities were spick and span.

Property is located near the edge of forest with beautiful serene horizon from the balcony of the villa. Pool was well maintained and clean across our stay. Even though in forest there were hardly any mosquitoes. Staff were quite welcoming and the welcome tea was out of the blue.

The small&beautiful Portobello resort is about 2km outside the Ubud City Center. You can rent a scooter or a taxi from the hotel or just take a “Grab” transfer. We’ve appreciated our private infinity pool 🤩! Breakfast was good! We’ve liked the massage services at the room provided by therapists from the neighbourhood! We can recommend the private day trips with the hotel driver Imadi. All hotel services were provided with fair rates!

The menu could be more varied, also because you have to travel by car/taxi if you want to eat outside of Portobello Villa Ubud. But overall the food fresh and colorful. The way to the villa is mainly reached by car, not sure how safe is to walk. In general during the night the streets are not lightened.

Portobello Villa Ubud is in the heart of Ubud. It is a tranquil haven, "equipped" with a private swimming pool overlooking Ubud’s lush landscapes. The villa and the rooms were spacious (maybe too spacious), with distinctive Balinese decor. Frankly, enjoyed more the outside area and lush garden which is extremely welcoming, cozy and relaxed atmosphere. It's a great place to disconnect and immerse yourself in the tranquility. The driver of Portobello Villa Ubud is so helpful and knowledgeable. He speaks fluently English. Shared with us lots of details about Balinese traditions, culture and amazing spots. Even raining we managed to visit exquisite places and some of hidden places for the regular tourists. Memories for life!

Staff was a little slow responding sometimes if you needed something immediately.. but I understand b/c I think only one staff member at the time spoke English..

I absolutely loved my stay.. The pool was the perfect temperature 🌡 👌🏾..I didn't have any issues with bugs being in my room.. which was shocking due to the environment being in the jungle(but you can hear them outside at night) .. The staff was very kind.. I would definitely book again..

They totally mislead the guests as they claim that the accomodation is 100m square but in reality there is just 1 bedroom with max 30m and a tiny bathroom with max. 8m. The sunbeds pretty uncomfortable as they were missing the cushon part. When asked, they didnt help providing it.

Fantastic view from the pool, one of a kind, overall cleanliness, the breakfast, great shower with lots of pressure.

It’s a short motorbike ride to Ubud centre which was absolutely fine. We hired one for the whole time we were there and to be honest driving out of Ubud centre back to our hotel was a relief. It’s very busy in town!
