The door for the girl's dorm is kind of loud, so it was a bit difficult to enter the room without waking the others.

It's such a quiet place with a nice and calm vibe even though it's in the middle of the city. Because of that, it also has a close walking distance to just about anything. Furthermore the breakfast was delicious (in my oppinion). When you woke up, a staff would cook a thick pancake with banana and cut some fruits for you - very fulfilling and delicious! They also have some nice facilities like a big kitchen and a great outdoor shower.

Absolutely nothing negative!

What a great place! We stayed in a bungalow which was really cosy, comfortable, clean and with a great style. Warm water with good pressure. The host is such a friendly guy, always willing to help and provide all sorts of information and tips. There is free water for refills, free coffee and the breakfast is tasty. We totally recommend staying at this place!

As with most hostels, could use more hooks and shampoo in the bathrooms, some hooks or more shelves in the dorm bunks, and the bunk beds are a little squeaky (bolt to wall or reinforce with braces?) but it's all pretty standard so not an issue Would have loved a vegan option for breakfast, but lots of food places were nearby

Bed comfortable, great airconditioning in dorm rooms, hot showers, clean. Quiet spot with treed yard, hammocks, and small pool (lovely in to chill, but too shallow to really swim or tread water). Dorms are only four beds to a room, so pretty quiet and spacious. Curtain, reading light, power outlet, and tiny shelf in each bunk. Lockers are available (fit medium-large bag), and are conveniently outside the rooms (so more quiet). Staff are very kind and very helpful with logistics questions. Appreciated the water refill (to avoid plastic disposables). Vegetarian pancakes and fruit available for breakfast. Walking distance from lots of great restaurants, the cool/hip Jl. Prawirotaman street, and Alun-Alun Kidul.

It had everything a traveller needs. It was small enough to get to know the guests and the personel by name. And big enough to offer plenty space for everyone. Really relaxed vibe. Would recommend to everyone visiting Jogja.

Pool was empty when I was there and Jogja is HOT.

It was sooo clean and modern. Staff is super kind and willing to help with recommendations and anything you need. Breakfast cooked up on demand in the open kitchen.

The pool is not very cold but nice to chill in there.

Very beautiful hostel and nice people. The 4-bed rooms are very silent and AC works. There is also much food around and it's not far into the city. There is also a variety of free coffee and tea available at the hostel and a kitchen. I loved the open air shower :)

Staying at this hostel was an absolute delight! The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always going out of their way to ensure guests had a really good experience. The the breakfast served was super! The atmosphere exuded a warm, familial vibe, making it feel like a home away from home. Ranasa is the best place I've stayed in Indonesia. It's clean, quiet and the owners are the nicest and kindest people. The neighbourhood is surprisingly nice, you will get the opportunity to see something different than malioboro. I am a light sleeper and I could sleep really well here, no sunlight or external noise in the room

Very well located, the hostel is close to all attractions in Yogyakarta. For the activities outside of the city, they contacted a motorbike rental shop which dropped the bike at the hostel. The dorm was comfortable, cool and calm. They provided me a towel for the stay. The staff was amazing, so friendly and open to discussion or any activity (going to a waterfall, a bar or playing music or games). The breakfast was also fresh and good.

The bathroom smells sometimes because of the sewer. There is only one outlet next to the bed and it is not possible to make your own coffee or tea in the room.

The little houses are spacious and good-looking. The location was perfect and it was nice that we could rent a motorbike to drive around. It's very clean.

This place should be busier. It’s really life and has a great environment. Nice breakfast and they accommodated me as a vegan which was nice. Good vibes from the staff to the guests. Strong A/C. Good quiet street in good location.

Beautiful and peaceful, centrally located. Rented scooter for 80,000/hour which is cheaper than most places in town. This hostel should be more full, but I was lucky enough to have the room to myself many nights. The pool is warm. They worked out vegan breakfast special for me which was very nice.

I had an amazing time, Ipey is super chilled, beds are amazing, 4dorm is comfy, tiny houses are super cute, pool is clean and the atmosphere is like an oasis in the middle of a city. Enjoyed my time a lot with Ipey (owner), volunteer Lisa and the other travellers. See you again 😊
