Unfortunately there is construction on a neighbouring site. I am noise sensitive and could not sit out on my deck or by the pool for long as it was too loud. Ok when indoors and doors shut with earplugs in. Aircon in the hut struggled to keep up and room got very hot. I asked for a fan which they provided. No drink or food on-site which is fine but a vending machine option so you could at least get a soda would be great. Very tricky windy and hilly location. I was on foot and like walking but not an enjoyable walk. Is ok cause gojek can get you for very cheap however would have been better to be closer to the main strip. Communication with staff onsite was a struggle due to language barrier and staff you msg online were not onsite.

Lovely huts, only 4 currently so not many people around. Pool and pool area was pretty. Big bed and bathroom. Well priced accommodation.

Breakfast being offered would make the stay a little easier

Ring sun cottages surpassed our expectations! The location was amazing (better if willing to have motorbike) as it was hidden away with a wonderful peaceful setting whilst still being close to Padang Padang beach and many restaurants around uluwatu and bingin. The huts were really comfortable and we loved our stay here! Thank you.

The Wi-Fi did not work, we complained but they did not do anything about it. The bathroom was full of caterpillars. Also, no breakfast option and there were no cafes around, so each time you wanted to eat/do something outside of the hotel you had to get a bike or a car.

The bungalows were very nice, and the hotel was located in a very nice place, full of nature.

Probably the most beautiful place where i have been with the stunning garden and pool area. Pretty and spacious hut with a big bathroom. Lovely and helpful staff and their cute little cat. Would 100% recommend.

It's difficult to give a fair review because the noise from building all around (including the accommodation) skews things a little. That aside, It was a delightful stay.

Remote, nice pool, cold beer, cheeky monkeys! As mentioned, the build noise was a little irritating but we still had a great time.

- The bathroom can do with a bit of reno; - Also the cleaning can get better, it gets cleaned but it's lacking someone with eye for details. - I got iritation of my nose and longs because the AC wasn't cleaned. The staff did more cleaning when we requested. They really try their best, but I reckon this place just needs a good property manager to lead the team.

We came with low expectations (and a bit of fear) because of the bad latest reviews. We have to say; it wasn't THAT bad. The acco can improve some things, that's for sure but it has huge potential. We loved the location, away from the busy street. You do need a scooter though! We also loved the garden with the views and the overall setup of the cottage.

Even though it was close to the padang padang beach, the hotel was in the middle of nowhere, and it was quite difficult to find and I wouldn’t be able to walk night time alone to the hotel because it is extremely dark around the place

If you want to walk to the beach it is a difficult walk, the roads are very hilly. Lots of construction noise around.

Had a very pleasant stay here. The air conditioner was ice cold and the bed was really comfortable. The villa was nice and clean.The pool was really enjoyable too.

There was a bit of construction going on, however I think this is happening everywhere around Uluwatu.

The room was very clean and we also liked the open bathroom. We had a nice stay. The pool was also enjoyable. Probably my favourite was the cat and the dog at the property. I love animals and this kitty greeted us in the morning for pets.

The location is too remote, hard to get to Padang Padang beach by walking. I was afraid I might get attacked by monkeys. If you want to meet other people, may be best not to choose this place as I wasn’t able to interact with anybody there. Probably best for couples and honeymooners here. Wifi was barely working.

The room itself, wonderful cottage, very clean and spacious, really lived the bathroom with walking shower. The pool area was also nicely done.

The roof was leaking so we had to move house. Furthermore, they where doing some construction work, which led to some noise. This was told a couple hours prior to check-in.

Cute small houses. Lovely place with a beautiful garden and pool. The personnel was very helpful and service-minded.

steps through out property

We initially planned to stay here for 4 days but ended up checking out after 2 nights due to some issues. Both my husband and I have disabilities that mean steps are difficult for us. We had booked based on the photos on booking.com (http://booking.com) where the surroundings look flat,and that the steps that are shown appear to be not large,steep or unsafe . Unfortunately there is numerous steep stone steps. Even the steps down to the pool are extremely steep and unsafe. The length of the stairs would be approximately 6 m on a very steep descent. There is no handrails or anything else to assist you getting down to the pool? The cottages are beautiful and the environment is very natural and breathtaking, you can see and hear the waves. The bed is comfortable and the accommodation was clean. We had a small bar fridge,aircon and room safe. The bathroom was lovely with a semi natural shower,which had a good supply of hot water when water was available. We returned to the accommodation on Friday night to find we didn’t have any water, we had no contact number for staff so we had no way to let staff know this. We contacted them through message booking.com (http://booking.com) and half an hour later we had water. We have pictures and video to back this up There is a resident dog and cat,and they are very friendly and the staff are helpful when you find them. There is a communal kitchen that has cooking facilities and is well stocked with plates and other utensils and that is a real bonus. It appears the photos may have been taken in a way to not show the steep steps Overall we would say the accommodation was 6/10 as it is a relaxing eco friendly place but it is not suitable for most people due to the steps . Providing handrails would make it safer.

Construction work going on that we weren’t aware about prior. (Started around 9am) Lack of signage on way to property and can be difficult to find. Wi-fi was hit and miss.

Good location away from main road. Helpful and friendly staff. Nice gardens and pool area. Cute cat and dog on site. Moped rental available at the hotel is reasonable. Good value for money. Nice place to relax.
