Wonderful stylish house. Very nice staff, when we left early they packed a full breakfast for us. Helped us arranging a tour with a friendly driver. The tour was great, except for the sunrise part as it was foggy and could not see anything.

It's a beautiful building. The rooms were very tidy, smelt amazing and the ac worked great. The local breakfast in the morning was unexpectedly AMAZING. It was the perfect start to the day. Tea, Coffee & nibbles on arrival and available all the time. I made a booking error and the lady with the gorgeous eyes took it upon herself to fix it for me. I was so grateful. I highly recommend this guest house. There are some fabulous places to eat and get coffee close as well.

Lovely, homey, Javanese tradisional home stay, with beautiful details and decorations. Cute courtyard, completed with delish treats, ginger drinks and jamu. Very nice breakfast in the morning . Just love it❤️❤️❤️

Excellent breakfast served in a comfortable area. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend if you search for a quiet and clean place in Yogyakarta. Clean rooms are arranged with stylish furniture. They serve coffee, snacks and fresh fruit in common area which is very nice! Close to local restaurants!

We had to ask a few times for the wifi to be reset, which was done. Nearby a mosque, it is just one call during the night. Other than that, the stay was a really lovely experience, very different from the international anonymous hotels.

It's a beautiful traditional house, well situated and comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly and the breakfast made of delicious traditional Indonesian dishes.

Everything is awesome. What made it super extra nice is the staff. Everyone including Pak Bambang, Neni, Ibe and Siri made our days very special. Will definitely stay here whenever we are in Jogja again.

As is clear in other reviews, the proximity of the mosque could be an issue for some, and we experimented some noise from what appeared to be a water pump or some such. It didn’t spoil our stay, but just something to be aware of.

The location worked perfectly for us. The property was wonderful, clean, stylish and comfortable. The staff were polite and helpful. Highly recommend.

The entire property is just so lovely. A little oasis. The rooms are on the smaller side, but beautifully decored and very clean. The outside front terrace is so lovely to sit and relax. The staff are super helpful and very pleasant to deal with. English for some of them is a struggle, but one can always get around that. The Manager helped us with a private driver, various ticket purchasing, etc. Very professional. Coffee, tea, and little snacks are available - for free - all the time.

Only small drawbacks are the lack of perfect cleaning in the bathroom for eu standards and the fact that the staff 's English is somewhat limited.

Beautiful guest house around a large atrium. Comfy rooms with extremely friendly staff, for example they packed our breakfast everyday without even asking as we were often leaving early.

It was a beautiful stay very different from the regular hotels and I would strongly recommend it to visitors coming to Yogya. The architecture is gorgeous, the place peaceful and the staff were so warm and hospitable, always ready with any help or information you might need. Even if you come without planning for a driver or tour, they would be able to arrange and it is slightly better priced than some online portals. The location is on a quiet street which is great for us. The breakfast is a wonderful spread which is served as an individual set in the courtyard garden when you are ready. Don't miss this! We had different menus on the 2 days we stayed.

It is not the fault of the hotel, but just like in many places in Jawa there is a mosque close to the hotel. If you are not sleeping deep and staying there for the weekend it is better to be prepared with some earplugs, otherwise you will enjoy the music from 5 to 6 am.

The hotel is really nice and clean. Staff is super friendly and they were open to any kind of extra requests (like preparing take away breakfast early in the morning). There are shops and small restaurants close by, but the center of the city is about 25-30 mins to walk, better to take a Grab which is cheap and quick.

To the centre of town we took all the time a Crab taxi. It is not in the centre of Yogyarkarta.

It is a very nice, quiet and clean place. The room are comfortable and the staff is very nice. Good indonesian breakfast and Good WiFi. They even thought about my birthday.😀

Please upgrade internet capacity. For my kids and I, actually we enjoyed for not having great connection because we can play together without being disturbing by gadget. But unfortunately for my husband who had to do some meeting during our stay... it was quite challenging.

We loved the charm of this guesthouse. The vintage aesthetics, architecture of this place and the furniture were awesome. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. Beautiful atmosphere inside and outside the guesthouse. The service was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend there.

Cash only is accepted, you can not pay by credit card. As a foreign tourist, this is a pain because of the additional cost for cash withdrawals. If you stay multiple nights, you will have to withdraw multiple times as ATM withdrawals are limited to 2 000 000 idr. If you want to experience Yogya's bars in the evening, this place is a bit far. You can easily and cheaply get a taxi, but being at walking distance would've been nicer for us.

Very beautiful place with delicious breakfast! The front terrace is lovely to hang out on. Very quiet street too, no noise from traffic.

Everything was great. No complaints.

The place was beautiful and extremely well maintained. It was serene and has a fully covered courtyard in the the center where you can eat breakfast or have tea every morning (the photos on the site are very accurate). The individually-portioned breakfast was awesome, very generous, and changed on a daily basis. I also loved the fresh ginger tea they served in the evenings. In terms of location, you can get to Malioboro via a $2 cab ride (or you can walk 20-30min to get there). It's super easy to get cabs in Yogyakarta. There's also a convenience store right outside on the main road, and the guest house is a 3min walk away from Tempo Gelato (a popular dessert place). The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially Bambang, who is such a kind person and always there when we needed something.

The duvets initially provided for the beds were rather thick and it would have been nice to have a more versatile range of bedding on hand.

This is a lovely guest house with a lot of attention given to make a beautiful, calm environment to welcome guests and to make them feel comfortable. As mentioned by a previous guest, the owner of the guest house was very nice, and keen to make our stay enjoyable. The guest house is in a quiet street conveniently only around 20-25 minutes walk from the old (and huge!) Beringharjo Market at the southern end of Malioboro Street. From there it is not far to other notable places to visit in the centre of the city.
