Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyThe room could provide a bit more storage options and something to hang towles.
The whole hotel setup is super nice. We loved staying there. Room and hotel facilities were super clean. You need to rent a scooter to get anywhere. With a scooter the location is quite good: quiet but easy access to restaurants, beaches, big strett with shops etc (5- 10 min by scooter).

IrelandBreakfast finishes a bit early. My partner did not enjoy the breakfast. We both had massages done on site and they were the worst we had in Bali. The masseuses were on their phones during the massage. Really poor service.
A gorgeous unique stay! We stayed in Ginger House and had the retractable roof which was amazing. Felt very surreal! Good bathroom and the room was clean. There is no door on the bathroom which wasn’t an issue for us but something to note. Good location with lots of restaurants and beach clubs in the area. A local restaurant (El Merkat) offers a 10% discount for those staying in the treehouse - it is great and would definitely recommend going. The avocado toast at breakfast is delicious! We had laundry done during our stay and the service was super quick and a very good price.

CanadaIt is a real treehouse. The look on our children’s face when they saw this place was priceless. The staff was awesome, the place magical, and the breakfast delicious. We just sat in our bed with the window’s open and enjoyed the views of birds flying through the canopy, while our children were playing in the loft bed they had to climb into. Every child should have the opportunity to sleep here once.

Amazing idea , amazing place ! Always dreaming of having a tree house , our dream came finally true in a small paradise in south of Bali! Very clean place , in the nature , all you need to recharge your batteries and reconnect with the nature! The owners are very cool, we had no problem with the late check-in. We could also rent a bike so everything was very easy. The property is close to all of the beaches of the south and the main attractions with bike. The warrungs recommended were amazing The last day before our flight , we spent it there and we decided to participate to the acupuncture session with Alex which was also a great experience! Thank u for everything , keep it real guys ..! Till next time !

Indiawe cannot bring any eatables because there were many potential intruders to take our food inside our house and we understood that because we are living in the ecosystem of a tree, and the room was a bit conjusted, if someone is ok with this, then go for it, very calm and peaceful.

UkraineThe time spent in a small, very cozy hotel returned us to childhood: who among the children did not dream of their own treehouse? The atmosphere enchanted us from the first minute, and magic did not dissipate later. In addition to the high level of service in the room and outside, the guest also receives exquisite aesthetic pleasure: all items with love and taste are made of natural materials. Well done to the designer, the owner of a small ecological miracle in our plastic-enveloped world! In my opinion, hotels of the future should be just like that. We wish good luck, good guests and development of business!

AustraliaCheck which treehouse you book (the larger ones are better), ours was called the family bungalow and wasn't as expected/wasn't like the gorgeous large treehouses you see in the main photos Overpriced for what it was Should have Air conditioning like bungalows in Indonesia do for that price

Indiafor the entire three days we stayed, there is no replacement of towels/toiletories. in spite of informing the staff to replace the towels, they did not. Frogs sounds are crazy, you never know the frog is inside the room or making noise from outside. Night stay with these sounds, kids might afraid. The other point is the stay is only good for young people not for old/physical ailment people. Surrounding the property you wont get anything to eat, shop or roam around. After 7pm it will be pitch dark and you cant walk outside of the property boundary without torch.
Wonderful experience to stay in a hut type room in the middle of trees. rooms are different than the normal typical hotel rooms.

RussiaWe decided to book big room for my birthday. When we came, there were no electricity. It means no water in shower and in toilet. The owner offered to go to have a shower in her house, that was nearby. Well, that can be nice, but not what I would really like to do, when I pay 1,8 million for night. After one hour the electricity came back. But the problem appeared again in evening. At that time I was entering my room and SNAKE bited me inside a room. We were in hospital. Doctors found from remarks that snake was without poison. The owner offered us another room that was still under construction without shower. Anyway, just would like to say that I have been worked in hotel and restaurant area from 2005. The service from owner was not hospitable and not loyal for us. Staff under pressure of owner, too. Only one sample. For example, we asked a knife to cut a mango in our terrace. Staff offered to go by ourself inside closed cafe and find it. After my husband told polity that it is not polite from him, he answered that he afraid of owner to do such kind of things. And many other things. Swimming pool is quit dirty and in shadow, so it is too cold. When I asked staff: “sorry, will you clean swimming pool today?” That started to laugh and answered:” of course, not”
Nice idea of design. Clean.

SingaporeThe toilet flush was not working the first day we checked in. They also started construction on the patio the very next day and we never received an apology or forewarning for this. On the third night, I tried complaining to the owner who said she would offer a refund and not continue with early morning construction. On our last day, the construction continued and when I complained at the end, the owner got her thug lawyer to beat me up and throw me out. Her thug lawyer tried to take my phone and delete videos of them assaulting me. They even refused to let me leave and their lawyer threatened to deport me. I have since made a police report against them and also escalated this to the Singapore embassy.
It was quiet the first night we checked in.

Greecethere was no window net so a big lizard came into our treehouse and we needed to find a new hotel in the middle of the night. when we complained about the lack of window nets , ths staff told us that it is our problem if we are not familiar with nature. I mean, we are familiar but in the middle of jungle snakes , or other animals could enter the treehouse from the open spots.. so this is not comfortable at all for us…
it was super clean, amazing decorated and very beautiful inside.
