Traffic can get pretty congested near the location.

The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the stunning villas. Each villa boasts its own private pool, creating a serene and secluded retreat amidst the vibrant surroundings of Bali. The rooms were clean and very spacious. Staff were really pleasant. One of the many highlights of my stay was the exceptional breakfast offered at the hotel. From traditional Balinese delicacies to continental favorites, there was something to satisfy every palate. The quality of the food, coupled with the picturesque setting of the dining area, made for a delightful start to each day of my stay.

Breakfast was structured around a fixed menu. There are plenty of choices and the food is delicious. I just happen prefer buffet style for breakfast when on holiday.

The hotel is located in a quiet space tucked away from the noisy streets, but close enough to be accessible to everything you need on foot. The rooms were very spacious, clean and practical. All the staff were lovely. The full day escorted tour outside of Ubud was the highlight.

The fact that it is close to the monkey forest and we have to be careful about keeping all our things inside or else they can be taken away by the monkeys.

The location, close to everything in Ubud. The staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was outstanding too.

Having to leave

We had a pool villa which was fantastic with a large pool and we had monkeys visit us daily. The staff were all super friendly and could not do enough for us. Such a relaxing stay even with the hustle of the busy roads of Ubud.

Loved everything!

Great location. Amazing staff in all areas. Room cleaning and hospitality exceptional. Treated like VIPs. Lots of little extras, fruit bowl, oil burner, toiletries. Very green top floor view of jungle/forest area. Large suite and huge bath! Good sized pool, very tranquil. Monkeys entertaining in the afternoons!

Royal Kamuela is an oasis in the heart of bustling Ubud (and was undoubtedly the best of the five hotels we stayed at on our trip). It's a top class hotel with an excellent restaurant, pool area and gym. All of the staff were excellent.

Amazing location in the centre of shops and restaurants and monkey sanctuary. Very clean and good breakfast and gave us breakfast boxes in early hours. Beautiful pool stunning place welcome drink and 15 min massage included absolutely outstanding service from everyone 100% recommend

For those with any kind of mobility issues , the hike to your quiet haven , might seem very far .

There is a lot of private space . I was surprised how quiet the place is - even the occasional monkey family . High quality . Absolutely no mold in the rooms ..For a wet area , This place is especially great for those that are sensitive I stayed there during the silent day , and felt very comfortable and the staff went out of their way to be accommodating. .

One word "Amazing" location is perfect based in the centre of Ubud. Staff are amazing, friendly and can't do enough to make your stay that bit special. The food offerings are delicious and loads of options. The Swimming pool is modern with all new decking recently done. Even the monkeys were a fun touch. A must see is the Monkey Forest next door

The only thing we didn't like was the construction at the pool area while we were there. It took away from enjoying the pool during the day.

Beautiful property. We enjoyed watching the monkeys from our patio overlooking the gardens. We felt so spoiled and pampered during our stay. We have an amazing private dinner for our anniversary and was it was so nicely decorated with rose petals. Breakfasts were fantastic. My husband and I both had the best massages so I recommend using the spa services!
