Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

The staff was unbelievably friendly and helpful. They greeted you by name. The rooms were spacious and clean. We had one overlooking the pool. Breakfast was included and it was always delicious and more than enough food. The location was also great. Next to so many restaurants, shops and bars.

United KingdomIf you have any apprehension about the monkeys then the villas are not for you. We saw the monkeys every day which was wonderful, but they are not shy and will come close!
The central location is fabulous. It’s hard to believe this quiet oasis of a hotel exists in the hustle and bustle of central Ubud. The facilities and the staff were wonderful. Breakfast was incredible.

The villa we stayed was absolutely adorable! Very comfortable, modern! The highlight were the monkeys every day that passed through our garden after 2pm :) The spa was amazing and they made us feel welcomed and super relaxed. All that we tried at the restaurant was delicious. Everyone in the hotel was smiling and nothing was ever too much for them. We thank you for making our honeymoon so unique!

Everything about this resort was awesome. All the staff at this place were absolutely fantastic. Dede and Santika were amazing and made me feel really welcomed. I will be returning next year. GreeceThe only thing that was a little annoying was that our room was next to the reception so there was noise from talking and laughing sometimes. Maybe it would not bothered us in any other occasion, but on our honeymoon we would like to feel full private and quite.
We stayed at Royal Kamuela at Monkey Forest for two nights for our honeymoon. We had booked a villa with private pool which was huge and really great!! There was everyday cleaning service for the room and the pool! We loved our outdoor kitchen and sitting area. The breakfast was a la carte and so delicious! Stuff were always kind and smilie. The resort is so close to the center of Ubud and next to the monkey forest, so we had a visit from a group of monkeys to our room which was exciting!! Totally recommend Royal Kamuela at Monkey forest!

I have had the privilege to travel and stay at various hotels in my lifetime, however the hospitality offered at Royal Kamuela couldn't be even compared to anywhere. The staff here is just amazing. They make sure your stay is comfortable and you are having the best time. We planned this experience for our Mother and indeed this was a "Royal Experience". The room was huge and had everything you can think of. The Jacuzzi felt like heaven after a long day of travelling. The Hotel Restaurant was amazing as well and not to mention the amazing breakfast. We had an early morning flight and the staff packed our breakfast for us to go. Thank you again for this lovely stay, I hope to come back soon 🙏

ItalyThe hotel is located very close to the center of Ubud and basically it’s inside the Monkey forest. Throughout the day the hotel is home also to the monkeys that come and go as they please and they are a very happy sight. The Villa is very big and nice with a wonderful private pool. The Villa might need a furniture revamp but it’s fine, it has everything you need and more! The restaurant is very good and they have a great variation of choices.

EgyptWhen we arrived at 9 the AC had some problems. Our room was a bit worn out with some stains and scratches. Honestly felt that the room is not a good value for money, yet the second day staff offered a new room, much better.
The staff were welcoming. Special thanks for Mr Made for being on top of everything. I appreciated that they tried to solve problems and were keen on understanding how to make things better. Location is good, 10 mins walk from anywhere.
