How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Location was perfect, easy accessible to every part of the island. Didn’t use a bike, liked walk in to places and everything is reachable by walking. Would come again and would recommend!

Location was okay, tough to get there if you have suitcases, but that’s the same for almost all stays on the Gili Islands. It was really loud though at night, as there is a party hostel across the street and you can hear everything through the walls. Not surprising as there are many party hostels on Gili T, but could be a problem if you’re a light sleeper.
Super clean and great value for money. The AC works very well, which is crucial on Gili T. I’ve been to several stays in this price class and can highly recommend this one.

Everything was great.
Beautiful little place with big rooms very clean and tidy. Great aircon and facilities. Short 5 min bicycle into the main beach shops. Great stay here I’ll be back.

It was quite loud with the hostel beside the property however wasn’t too bad as it usually stopped by 9/10pm

lovely stay in gorgeous little apartments just off the main strip, close to the harbour and all the bars and restuarants i had a change to make to my booking when we arrived and they accomodated the change which was really helpful and let us hire th bikes cant recommend enough x

No hot shower
It was super clean. The bed was comfy and whole room looked so lovely . Breakfast was amazing. They sent to the door in the morning. Staff were super super helpful and kind.

Showers weak water pressure, bathroom toilet and tiles needed cleaning.
Perry the manager and her staff were exceptional and extremely accommodating throughout our stay. Perfect location, breakfast, perfect cool n shady pool and we rested well in our villa as beds were comfortable and very little noise despite proximity to local hostile nearby. Villa cleaned daily and fresh towels, clean water accessible. Power went out and we had an immediate backup generator that kicked in. Will stay again in top couple suite only has separate living room area which makes quite a difference to room size ..

Toilet was a bit rough / damaged inside the bowl but nothing that bad. Sometimes there was a sewagey smell coming from bathroom.
Super friendly service. Perfect for what we needed. Rooms cleaned every day and nice cosy space with everything you need. Location was 5 min walk to the main strip with restaurants / bars etc. Pool was clean and nicely quiet during daytime.

The people were very helpful and always ready to help. They recommended a few places to snorkel and have dinner. Power cuts are frequent, but the hosts did all in their power to minimise them. Would not search any more

We knew that Gili T is a Party island, but just across the road was a real party place and being on a small island we found it to be a bit noisy. Although, they were quiet most nights by 11 PM.
The staff and the manager were amazing! Super helpful. Shout out to Peri who helped us with transfers, suggestions and many other things! 🥳 The rooms were great and comfortable and it was a few mins walk from turtle beach (where we always saw turtles!)
