The owners Ingrid and Dadang as well as the family and workers made us feel right at home. They were quick to respond to any questions. Adi I think his name was served us breakfast every morning and went out of his way to go get me ice from the shop when I hurt myself. Everyone here is so welcoming and it’s such a beautiful property in a good location. I can’t recommend enough. Will definitely be back 🙌🏼

Amazing place. Amazing vibes. Beautiful garden. Perfect location close to a small road so there is no traffic noise. The breakfast is sooo good! DaDang, Ingrid and all the team are always there happy to help or to have a chat about Batukaras life. You don't feel just like a host, you feel at home ❤️

This is an amazing homestay where you directly feel comfortable and like in paradise. It's super quite, you only here nature and you can relax right in front of your bungalow or in one of the hammocks. Ingrid will help you with everything. Starting from transport from the train station in Sidareja (this is super helpful as you will drive almost 2h!), getting a scooter (they are really cheap here) or anything else you need. We had great talks and an absolute great time there! We planned for 2 nights and ended up to extend up to 4. Highly recommend!

Amazingly friendly and helpful. Clean, characterful room, with plenty of space. Simple, but tasty breakfast included. Lots of transport, activities and food organised at modest prices. I can't recommend this highly enough.

do not look further! This place is amazing. We booked for 5 nights and we kept extending our stay, total of 2 weeks. And so did all the other people who are staying there! Some even for 2 months. The place is very clean! They clean every morning and evening. The breakfast is delicious. People are super friendly, open and honest. They brought us coconuts for free, as much coffee/thee as you want and always available. They arrange scooter, laundry, taxi’s and anything else you ask! We felt home and Ingrid and Dadang felt like family. Theodore was born in this family and we even could join the ceremony. They offered us several times homemade food, all for free. The room is spacious and has everything you need. We fell in love with Batukaras and Sadati. We definitely come back! Thank you for everything.

This place is just a must visit place (the homestay as well as batukaras). The rooms / small bungalows were amazing. Clean, comfy and everything you want. What made the place outstand any other was the hosting family though. Always up to help or for a good conversation with Ingrid or Freddy. 100% recommend staying here!!

Everything was just perfect. The room is very spacious and very clean. You get fresh water, coffee, and tea delivered to your porch every morning and evening. Breakfast was very nice! The host family is amazing, they helped us with everything that we needed. We were able to rent a scooter here. Also, there are enough nice restaurants nearby and the beach for surfing is only 5 minutes drive.

The shower is a bit cold but as it is warm outside it didn't really bother us. The WiFi could be better, but Ingrid is aware of that and tries to find a solution.

Amazing stay! Ingrid is super helpful, she even drove us once to the beach with her scooter. The other times we could use one of her bicycles to cycle to the beach. Basically you can ask her whatever you want: she organised us a scooter for a day, the trip to the green canyon and she helped to arrange surf lessons. The breakfast was fantastic. We are looking forward to our next stay!

There was no cold water in the shower. To be fair, you only need it at night when it gets a tiny bit chilly.

The bungalow was incredibly clean and spacious. Basic furnishing and nice and comfortable bed. The bathroom was spotless and roomy. Private patio great to sit back and relax by the nice garden surrounded by the trees. Dadang and Ingrid are so welcoming and kind and always there if you ever need anything!

You could only use a cold shower, but after a long day of surfing it’s fine.

The banana pancakes were oooh so good, Thanks to Dadang! The hosts were so kind and helpfull, it was Nice to have a chat with them. The room was very clean. A plus were the cute little animals walking around on the property.

Sadati home stay was incredible, I absolutely loved every second of our stay. The rooms were extremely clean and beautiful. The breakfast was delicious each morning. Ingrid made us feel welcome from the outset and was extremely helpful allowing us to make the most of our short stay in Batu Karas.

What can I say ? From the moment I stepped a foot in Ingrid & Dadang’s homestay, I felt at home. So much that I ended up staying 10 days instead of 2! The bungallow was very clean, and the little terrasse is quite cosy. There is always water, coffee and tea, and the breakfast is very nice. It’s very well located and you can ask a scooter to drive around Batu Karas ! Ingrid and Dadang are very warm, helpful and open to discussion. I had a great time talking to them and to all the people that come to hang out there! Terima Kasih
