Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IndonesiaActually nothing. But kang Ardy please consider to put AC hahaha because batukaras can be hot sometimes at night.
It’s cozy and comfy. A perfect fit for solo traveler or for those who travel together. The property was clean and the owner was really friendly and nice. He even can arrange you a surf lesson since he’s a surf instructor too. Also you can rent surf boards and motorcycles with good prices. The owner has little warung beside the homestay, so you can buy snacks or water supplies. Definition staying here is a perfect package. You don’t have to worry about anything.

United KingdomA small but lovely homestay. Ardy was a great host and very helpful. He even managed to fit in a surf session at 06.30 on my day of departure (finally a swell after 3 days of no waves). Good location and easy access to both beaches. Warungs close by too. Will be back!

GermanySuch a great homestay! Ardy (the host) is super friendly and kind. He took us to nice trips. Surfboard and scooter rental was very easy. He is also a surf instructor. We spend nice evenings together. Highly recommended. We will come again.

The owners are so kind and really care about you. The owner gave me surf lessons and I could use the board the rest of the day. In the evening you can chill with the family in front of the house. Very cozy.

AustraliaOnly cold water in the shower but did not bother too much as the weather was pretty warm during our stay.
Everything was nice. Ardy was really helpful and helped us for the rentals of a scooter and surfboard. He also gave us tips for good restaurants around. The location was amazing too because the homestay is really close to the beach and only few minutes walking from the surf spot. Bedroom was nice and clean. We also liked to have access to a kitchen. Practical to make coffee or tea.

It’s a simple but traditional Homestay which I really liked. Ardi the host made my stay so good I extended for 3 times. Just wanted to stay a few days in the end it was 2 weeks.. I chilled a lot with him and his friend Rudi and it was always so much fun. Also the bbq with the family is such a good experience when traveling through Asia. It was so nice to just sit with the family and eat with the hands haha. Ardi also gives you surf lessons and rents surfboards and he really wants to make your stay as good as possible. I’m already planning on when I can come back. Would totally recommend the Sadewa Homestay :)
