Long walk to the room which may be difficult for older or disabled travellers. The restaurant is quite formal which we were not used to, but the food was very good.

Beautiful rainforest grounds and accomodating staff. Free shuttle bus and yoga activity. The yoga is a must try. We could see the rice field from our balcony and the room was very luxury.

Very reasonable charges compared to the facilities and ambience. The rooms and bathrooms are big. The staff is extremely co operative and immediately attend to the requirements.For going to the rooms there are multiple steps going up and down. Though this was not an issue for us, it can be a problem for elderly.

Restaurant staff is super nice. We walked last.minute after early morning trek, and without a winch, most happily they served us breakfast. Generally, too other days, taking good care. Greenery within is amazing.

It would have been nice to have a broader section of Balinese cuisine. It was very western so we did not eat at the restaurant.

Every unit was positioned in the rainforest so we had complete privacy. The staff were amazing and breakfast was outstanding. Everyday there was a different selection of food from around the world as well as local. The location is 5 minutes away from the main strip so very little traffic. From The moment you arrive it feels like you are on holiday.

The steps to get your rooms are very high. Even getting out of the bathtub is risky, as it very high. Spa not opened though it is advertised, so very deceiving.

Just want to mention that the shuttle to the centre should run every 2 hours, there is an gap in service from 11 am to 3 pm

All the staff was very helpful and attentive to everything we needed. The service ar the restaurant was exceptional. Location just about 2 km from city centre was convenient reachable by the hotel shuttle 4x per day. The resort is very new, just a year old.

It is a fairly big resort, 60 rooms, and some of the Chinese and Russian guests were pretty loud at times. Can't fault the resort for that though.

Comfortable, spacious room in a beautiful garden setting. It's like being in a botanical garden, really lush and verdant, even by Balinese standards. Great service, always polite and attentive. Tasty buffet breakfast with a nice mix of local and western options, and good fresh fruit. Far enough from the busy streets that it's quiet, but a quick scooter or shuttle ride into downtown Ubud. The free onsite yoga was great. It was a fairly advanced Hatha session. I'm a beginner but I could follow enough that I got a great workout and stretch. Wifi was good, and the room was roomy enough that it would have been a great place to hang out and work for a while.

The food was well below 4 star, we ate (Indonesian) lunch once at the hotel and it was pretty bad. The shuttle times were very inconvenient to the town 8.30 and 3pm so be prepared to hire a scooter for the entire trip as the walk is too long in the heat.

Beautiful clean and spacious bedroom and bathroom and a lovely pool looking onto nature! Staff were very welcoming. We got a 60% discount which made it good value for money!

We liked everything.

This place is a hidden gem. It is located 2km outside of the Ubud city center. No noise from traffic, just absolute peace and quiet. The rooms are gigantic with ice cold airconditioning that you can control.They have a free shuttle that makes runs to the downtown Ubud a few times a day. A taxi is around 3 usd. We took the shuttle to go shopping and to try different restaurants in Ubud. We also did a few tours and they picked us up at the Sakti. They have a restaurant buffet at the Sakti Resort that offers the free breakfast/brunch that open all morning for over 3 hours. It offers many options that change daily. We stuffed ourselves before the tours. We also had dinner there which was just as good. The rooms and villas there are orientated so you overlook the tropical trees and plants. The pool has a swim up bar. If you are looking for a place in Ubud that is peaceful with everything you need, then this is the place.

Also want to thank Putu Adi (Bar Staff) he was extremely nice and let me try some of the house red before purchasing (it was a Balinese wine, and great value for money if you are a wine fan) he also was the one that recommended the Balinese Dinner. Kiwi (Hotel Chef) was also very amazing he was the one who taught my cooking class. He was beyond helpful and also went above and beyond as my phone had died and he took pictures on his phone and sent them to me. He was extremely nice and also a great teacher! Ni Wayan Suartini (Assistant Manager) Super super helpful and was checking on me throughout the Balinese dinner and also the cooking class. She went above and beyond to make my trip an enjoyable experience. This has exceeded my expectations as they have a lot of guests and I was not expecting to be treated with such care. Also want to thank the executive chef I Ketut Rejeki, he was very kind and asked for my feedback on the cooking class. Also, he gave me a certificate for the completion of the cooking class. This was an extremely wonderful gesture and a nice memento to have for my stay. Because I was leaving early the next day they hadn't printed one out yet and he personally went to the office to print it out so I could take it with me. Overall this is an absolutely beautiful place to stay and better than some of the 4/5 star places I've been in around the world. The only thing that threw me was the hotel uses traditional Balinese door locks and not electronic locks. At first I was a little paranoid as if someone wanted to break in they could however felt very safe as there was 24/7 security and staff on site as well and it's mostly couples and families in this place no party types. Also even with RFID locks it's pretty easy to break into if you know what you are doing.

Loved every bit of my stay here. I came here in an emergency as my previous accommodation was not safe. The staff treated me with a lot of care and empathy. I had sworn to myself I wouldn't return to Bali after such a bad experience at Nayaka Living Ubud( (Previous accommodation) but Sakti changed my mind and I will be returning next year with my partner. The rooms are so beautiful and large, there is a small bowl of fruit for you, you receive a welcome drink and also the staff will try to cater to your requests and go above and beyond (I asked them to make up the bed as I hadn't taken a photo my first night due to being extremely tired and stressed out and they folded the towels to look like little dogs which is something extra they did). They also offer private cultural classes that are fantastic value for money. There is a regular shuttle service to Ubud. The breakfast range was fantastic with a wide selection of hot food, pastries, and fresh fruit. If you need to leave early they offer a takeaway box so you can take food with you (Very useful and saved me buying food at the airport) The pool is amazing! it's deep enough (1.75m in the adult part, there is a shallow part for kids) to swim in, unlike other hotel pools. There is a pool bar, and fresh towels to use. Due to the previous accommodation, I changed my flights to leave Bali earlier the night I arrived, this was before I got to experience the resort and I honestly wish I hadn't. I attended a Balinese dance dinner, did a cooking class, egg painting, and also a Balinese offering class (just tried to pack my day with as much as possible since I was leaving early). Special Mentions: Sulistya (Hotel Reception) was extremely kind when I checked it as I must have seemed completely unhinged after leaving the last place in a rush. She got me a wet towel to wipe my face, welcome drink, and treated me with a lot of empathy and kindness. Continued below...

Being a bit away from centre of Ubud, shuttle transport a little restricting. Currently leaving at 830 then not again until 3pm. Hotel happy to find driver at a cost however which varied. Personal preference and common in Bali hotels, bed too firm for us.

Loved location in Ubud as away from busy main road, near a couple of good restaurants and spas. The garden and design beautiful feel very private from other guests. Loved the traditional wooden features and design of the accommodation. Pool sparkling, deep and clean with very comfy pool lounges. Breakfast was included and was outstanding, lots of choices and delicious. Spacious room, great air con. Staff friendly and very attentive.

This is such a pristine new resort. The location is superb, just a short ride out of town so it’s peaceful and quiet, and well equipped with great amenities so if you want to go out or stay in and relax both options are attractive. Their best asset by far though is their staff. Customer service is on point.

There was nothing we didn't like.

We loved everything about the resort! I've stayed at a lot of hotels in different parts of the world including 5 star ones but I must say this was the best hotel I've ever been to. The resort is set in an amazingly lush garden, it feels like you're in a jungle but with all the luxuries of a modern hotel. The swimming pool was beautiful and the pool bar was a lovely touch. The rooms are gorgeously decorated and spacious and everything feels very new. We loved the hotel so much that we decided to return there during our Bali trip! For this second stay we have been upgraded to a Suite which was an insanely gorgeous room at the back of the resort. It was fantastic. We would like to extend our gratitude to the exceptionally kind, friendly and attentive staff who made us feel very welcome. Everyone was greeting us with a big smile on their faces, truly wonderful. We really can't recommend this place highly enough!

ADD could be bigger. Toilet floor in the room is a little bit slippery. Perhaps our biggest concern is rooms are connected via outdoor walkway with steps going up and down, which may not be suitable for old people especially when it rains. Fortunately, they agreed to change our parents room after we raised the concern.

The setting, and overall ambience is nice. Room is quite big, and nicely decorated. Bed is super comfortable. Staffs are very friendly, and helpful. Rooms are made up twice a day.

It’s easy for animals to get to the room through the gaps in the doors. We found a gecko one time but we didn’t mind.
