The shower had only cold water, but the island is warm enough not to be bothered by it.

I loved staying at Ali's homestay. It is located on a perfect spot in the village of Karimunjawa, close to everything. Ali became a good friend and helped out with everything i needed. The patio is lovely to chill at night, and facilities like free coffee and tea, wifi, everything is there. Ali even helped arranging transport back to the mainland from the harbour. Simple room, but great stay!

The room didn't have an ensuite bathroom. There were shared bathrooms, but they were okay.

The staff were super friendly. They helped with everything. Organised transportation for us to the beaches. Told us of an organised island hopping and snorkelling trip that we went on and was incredible. Breakfast chocolate & banana crepes and fruit were awesome. They also provided towels. There was a mushalla (prayer place). The outer living area was so peaceful and chill.

It's a really good place to stay. Close to everywhere, Ali will pick up you from the port, also we had big problems so he helped to us and we could fix it. Hengki prepare really good pancakes. We rented the motorbike with him and the snorkeling tour and it was both perfect. So we recommend it to everyone.

Staff were very nice and extremely helpful especially with booking ferries. Picked us up and took us to the ferry port. Rent a bike and book trips through the hostel. Great breakfast!

The homestay is close to the harbor where we got picked up. The breakfast was amazing! Would come back for that :) The owner was super friendly and helped with our ferry tickets. We could rent a scooter and different day tours with him.

The host was just amazing, is name is Ali.. But we name him « MAMA ALI » as he was taking care of us so well. The place is in the middle of everything, hamac, big room, nice kitchen.. amazing little breakfast in the morning. But more than that was really the host. We felt like family.. he was taking his time everyday to bring us everywhere, to his friends place, snorkeling, to the best beaches. He was helping us out with every little details we ask.. THE BEST HOST! If you come in Karimunjawa you have one stop to make for sure.. IN SANA SINI HOSTEL!

We had an awesome time in sana sini! Ali served us nice breakfast and always made sure we had anything we need - fresh grilled fish for dinner included! He also knows what places to go best on the island, showing us a hidden secret waterfall one day. The room was clean and the bed comfy. Sometimes we used the kitchen with the fridge for cooking. We felt very welcomed in sana sini, thank you Ali!

it's too expensive for the accommodation. I had one room with a bad smell, it wasn't cleaned under the bed I could see so many dust and I didn't feel comfortable because of that smell. It's just an okay place for one night. Hopefully I was in that hotel only for one night. Maybe the other rooms I've seen are better without that smell. But still it's too expensive for the standing. I paid around 260 000rp.
