Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IndonesiaMany things can be improved. I have to say: too many things A. Room There is no fridge in the room. Linen and towel looks very old, need for replacement. Only bath towel is provided, no hand / face towels. I confirmed to the house keeping and they have none. B. Services: 1. Check-in I received two debit notifications from my credit card company. First, immediately upon check in. Second, two hours later. These created concerns. Luckily, the reception called us that they have made double charging, but have cancelled one of them. This explanation is a relief, but still leave a lingering question on how it can happened. I asked for the proof of cancellation and the reception lightly said that it and I CAN COLLECT IT AT THE RECEPTION DESK. Of course, I went down immediately to collect it, before the staff in service change. But, this shows the level of service. In one word: Unprofessional 2. Second key. We normally ask for two keys so we can move independently. Some hotels provide them as a standard when we check in two people in a room. Some other hotels provide upon request. This hotel DECLINED our request for the second key, even after we insisted. 3. Service In the second day, we found that our newly replaced towel badly smells when we use it as a face towel. We asked for replacement, but we only get it after a second call. We have waited 30 minutes between the calls. The same happened when we need an additional coffee sachet supplies. We only get it after the second call. The repeated call and the waiting time is unacceptable. 4. Check-out Upon check out, I requested the printout of the hotel bill/receipt. The junior receptionist handle our checkout tried to printout unsuccessfully. She asked for the help to her senior colleague. But this senior receptionist said that they don't print the receipt for booking made online. This is OUR FIRST EXPERIENCE. Finally the front office supervisor stepped in and we get our hotel receipt.
Nothing excites us. We regularly visit and stay in different hotels in Bengkulu We also regularly use Santika in different cities. These build our expectations when we booked to have our stay in Santika Bengkulu this first time.
