The property is located in a central area near lots of great restaurants but is tucked away behind the road where it is very quiet and peaceful. The staff were incredible, always going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend to others if coming to Ubud.

Sapodilla hotel was one of my best stays so far. The staff was always very helpful to look after any request to ensure a very comfortable stay. People say that the Balinese are great in hospitality. This is something which you can see at this hotel. We had our (excellent) daily breakfast in front of our room (ground floor) overlooking the pool. I highly recommend the ground floor rooms as it is most convenient and directly in front of the pool! Location is very good. Not in the middle of the city center, but still very central. The free shuttle service for Ubud city center is also very helpful. We did not have any problems with noise. The room and bed is big and comfortable. For this hotel we would be happy to come back. There was a misunderstanding regarding the pick up service from the airport. Even though the hotel had our flight number, the driver was waiting at the wrong terminal and we had to wait after a long travel for the pick up.

The staff was extremely nice and made sure to help us with everything. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, we got amazing a la cart breakfast in our room and the hotel even offers a free shuttle around ubud.

The kindest staff work here. They made us and especially our kids feel so welcome. Also there is a super handy shuttle service to all the sites. The pool is wonderful. The breakfast is amazing with lots of choice and great value - our best breakfast in Indonesia! Beds are huge and comfortable. Also you get a discount at the Japanese restaurant in front of the hotel - lovely fresh sushi and a small kids play area.

The staff here are so friendly and helpful! The rooms are beautiful and the whole place has such a nice and relaxed vibe. Walking distance to most places and they offer free shuttles on bikes or in a car too. A special thank you to Eka, who was so friendly and helpful it really made our stay :)

Really hard to think of anything!! Lots of ants in our room on the walls (probably due to rain). Also be careful of pool if you have bleached hair, I’ve left with slightly green hair!

Really exceptional hotel, I loved it all. Friendly staff ++ , tucked away in Ubud near the centre but also in a peaceful place. Great breakfast, housekeeping excellent. Everything was just great & I very much hope I can return here one day.

We really loved our stay here mostly thanks to the amazing staff. We had a great room (highly recommend requesting 208). The breakfast is delicious, the pool is perfect, the afternoon tea and snacks are a really nice touch. It's centrally located and easy to get dropped off using the hotel shuttle.

Service .. reception was very pleasant so was the staff. Breakfast was amazing. Room was neat … nice and clean. Location is at end of mail street but walk a little and you are in for loads of action

There were some ants in the room, which bothered my husband.

A beautiful, tranquil retreat, peaceful in the middle of all the Ubud madness of honking horns and scooters on sidewalks. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated the shuttle into town, refreshing swims in the perfectly-sized pool and the delicious breakfasts of eggs and fresh fruit (and super yummy fried bananas!). I did one of the morning tours, which was great.

The staff is very nice and responsive. They offer free shuttles to the Monkey Forest and the Ubud Palace. Close to restaurants and spas etc. The room stays cold (compared to all the other places we have stayed).
