Everything!! We booked the hotel out! Getting our mini bus to the accommodation was impossible and no warning had been issued by the hotel as to the state of the entry road. There was no eating area, they had very minimal food and you were expected to eat on your bed. The rooms weren't overly clean, lots of flies and cochroaches. No air conditioning and only a small fan in some rooms. Very little english was spoken which proved very difficult. They didn't serve any cold drinks, only hot drinks on ice. There was just no service or understanding of any form of service. This hotel was so badly misrepresented on Booking.com.

Our main fault with the villa would be the pool - we couldn’t swim because of the dead flies and small insects in it even despite the staff cleaning it daily. If Eric can find a permanent solution, sari sky can live up to the potential we know it has.

The best part of our stay was our interaction with Eric, the owner of the villa. He went above and beyond - he wasn’t just the villa owner but a tour guide, something he did not have to do. He drove us around his neighborhood, bringing us to the best cafes and warungs. His staff were warm and always greeted us with a smile. Although the path leading to our villa from the main road was rocky, a proper road is being constructed and the staff were ready at moments notice to to fetch us with motorbikes. There was a language barrier but they tried their best with google translate. The view is unmatched. Outside our room lies the untouched mount batur scenery in all its glory. Many flies are to be expected in Kintamani during the monsoon season, but if you can look past this for the nature, it’s the right place to stay.

The road to the property is in a very bad state, the rooms were not clean, there was no toilet paper when we arrived, we had to ask for it, the toilets smelled very bad, the showers were dirty and didn't look like had been cleaned in some time, the pool was so dirty it couldn't be used. There was no fridges in the rooms to keep drinks cool. They brought us food the first night and they never came back to take away the plates and there was nowhere for us to put the rubbish. We only stayed there 1 night out of the 4 nights booked. We had all the rooms booked for the 4 nights as there was 10 of us, the other 4 couples stayed 2 nights out of the four.

Its was increadible expirience ! Awesome View. And wE had THe tour tO the black lava , Which is down of the hotel. Its feels increadible ! Lovely team work in the hotel Very friendly And nice😊 wE stayed few times And always Happy ! Highly recomend this place .

The description stated it was a 5 star villa with 24 hour front desk, and the price was based on this. The description was totally inadequate. There was no front desk. It is not 5 star maybe 1.5 at tops. The linen was old and stained. There was nothing in the room, no water, no glasses, no rubbish bin, tissues etc. it is a very steep tough, bumpy gravel road and the nearest restaurant is about 7ks away. Luckily Erick drove us up there. The views are stunning and this place has so much potential and could be a 5 star in the future with a lot of work. The saving grace was that Erick was a good host -all but very laid back! We were extremely disappointed!

Erick was an excellent host. He was very helpful and gave us his scooter to go and get lunch and drove us at night to get dinner. He is very welcoming.

Breathtaking view, amazing staffs, pretty and well-made villa. Location is bit isolated, if you are a mountain person or planning to escape, it’s gonna be a perfect choice. The villa is in mountain you may won’t find hotel grade facilities, but the host Eric, the man with gem hearted, he is willing to help you with anything. You have nothing to worry here. I had wonderful experience here for my first visiting in Bali. God bless them.
