We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IndonesiaAc unit never cooled room below 25 degrees, balcony doors do not lock, pool lounge cushions are dated/ dirty/ worn. Floor tiles in room are stained so bad it makes the room look dirty (it was very clean)
The staff is amazing, and super accommodating. The breakfast was nice and large and the beds themselves are comfortable. Super quiet area and great location with quick access to the beach and main road for restaurants. Good value for money

AustraliaThe villa - smelt of mould - pillows were hard - the kitchen was yuck. The scourer had been used so many times it was almost bare and the cutting board was black. I asked for them to be changed; I got a slightly less used scourer and a promise to clean to cutting board (which never happened) - I booked this villa to allow me to cut up fresh fruit but it felt too dirty to do this & there was no knife (only cutlery knife). I asked for a knife and they offered to lend me the kitchen one when I needed to use it. - The tray the breakfast eggs were delivered on was broken and disgustingly dirty. - The pool outside our villa looked very dirty but I was assured it was just the paint having come off the concrete.
The location was great and the staff were friendly.

AustraliaThe rooms could do with some work. Very run down! Our room needed a lot of maintenance done, especially in the bathroom. The Amansari pool area also needed a bit of work, the wooden deck was very bouncy, didn't feel to safe.
Fantastic location, friendly staff, huge room with comfy bed. Basic but yummy breakfast buffet.

United StatesLike other comments I agreeed that the breakfast at times could be a little with that said some of the pastries seem like they were kind of day old as we would say in the states and the coffee and tea was very weak.
The location to the main street was perfect far enough off of the main street that it wasn't noisy tucked away and it's own Little cove. and if you walk the other direction then you were right on the walking path right on the beach. the location for us was excellent. The pool was the most refreshing pool we had our whole trip. The bed was very comfortable also. Nice full size bathroom with a bathtub was a plus and warm water. Always willing to get us clean bath towels and pool towels if needed. It was a great value for the money we would absolutely stay there again if we came back to Bali.

DenmarkThe staff was really friendly and helpfull, and we would always get a smile from then. Breakfast was basic but fine. The sunbeds could use umbrellas as they are directly in the sun during daytime. Rooms are spacious and nice, but unfriendly the balcony is not worth using as there is a big wall in the front so no view and no breeze.

Great value for money. There are 2 types of rooms. The larger older ones I’m not a fan of but the newer smaller ones with the courtyard are great. Clean, well thought out design and private. Internet was great. Male staff were spectacular and helped me immensely when I lost my phone. The location can’t be beaten either. Right behind the Wicked Parrot which has the best live music.
