This property is relatively new, all the amenities are modern and so lovely! The pool area is like a little oasis but the thing I loved the most is how lush the property is! So much greenery yet you’re right in the heart of one of Ubud’s busiest streets. Included in the stay is breakfast, you pick from a menu and they make it on demand so It’s fresh and custom made for you. There are HEAPS of activities, it’s very social but doesn’t give a wild vibe at all. 15 minute complimentary massages by the pool, morning yoga and family dinners. It’s just beautiful! The staff need a special shout out they’re so friendly, more than happy to help and always smiling! Also Dulcie who is volunteering from Wales was awesome at bringing everyone together for the social gatherings, she was a really great addition to help bridge the gap between all the travellers from different locations. Thanks everyone, one of my favourite stays 🙏🏼

Breakfast is good, but I would add more fruit to the pancakes :)

It was superb! They have designed the whole place in a really smart way, rooms are spacious, so even if you are staying with 3 people you don't feel you are in the way of each other. Everything is always clean, the shower / wc are separated and the basin in the middle of those 2, so everyone can use what they need when they need it. The beds are super comfy and you can have privacy by sliding your curtain :) there is also enough space to store your own things (locker/space for a bag/trolley). David and Iluh are the best, everyday asking you how you feel or making a joke, when staff engages with you, the whole experience enhances by far!

To be honest, I thought the room design was a bit flat given the price. Flat grey walls, clean lines, few knick-knacks – yes, that's a certain design vibe with pedigree, but this isn't Basel, it's Ubud, and I thought it was slightly lazy and out of place. Loud music playing during one of our two nights until was not the fault of the property per se, but they could take steps to soundproof the rooms.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff as one expects in Ubud, good pool area, nice little cafe/breakfasting zone. The breakfast omelette was slightly better and larger than expected. Lots of twenty- and thirty-somethings around to socialize with, if you're looking to meet new people. Free morning yoga was a nice touch, although the pavilion was full when we arrived (on time!) so we had to forgo it – get there 5 minutes early!

Like all hostels you get some poor experiences with room mates, but other than that, perfect place to go for anyone looking to enjoy their stay.

Amazing hostel, extremely great facility. Pool was great, staff was amazing specifically Ming and David. Excellent bar staff and super friendly. They made sure all your needs were satisfied. Many services with great rates offered through the hostel. People are friendly and fun, overall great experience.

Nicest hostel I have ever stayed at by a mile, pool was great, beds were super comfortable and wider than the standard, free breakfast food was outstanding, and the restrooms were clean and smelled good for my entire stay. Special shout out to David & Ming, two of the bartenders/staff at Savanna who were some of my favorite people I have met in Bali and helped make Savanna special. If you are wondering whether or not booking here is worth the extra $$ over some of the other hostels in the area it absolutely is worth every penny!

It was not allowed to take alcoholic drinks or main courses to the room and the food in the hotel was only average for the price. No fridge in the room. Although booked for 2 people, we were not allowed to take a friend to the room.

Huge, absolutely clean rooms. Staff had installed extra fly screens in the bathroom, so there were no bugs, geckos or other creatures anywhere (doors were also absolutely tight). Pool was beautiful and well maintained. In the evening there were various, changing activities. Beautiful complex. Friendly and very helpful staff.

Literally the only thing is that the wifi is kind of slow but this is such a minor detail and definitely shouldn't stop you from staying here.

Honestly I would say this was easily the nicest hostel I've ever stayed at! Super comfy beds, big rooms with storage space, super friendly and helpful staff that are always around if you need help with anything, beautiful pool and plants all around. Free breakfast is good, I didn't make it to the yoga or the free massage but thought it was great that these were included also. Also didn't make it to any of the events they were putting on (like bbq night for example) but it was easy to meet other people there. Definitely recommend!

People were not particularly social compared to other hostels I’ve stayed at. Seemed like more of a place to relax by yourself or with friends you already know.

Beautiful, new, very clean and well maintained. It’s quiet even though the busy street isn’t far away. The beds are roomy and private and the restaurant/pool area is really nice. The rooms and bathrooms are the cleanest I’ve come across in Bali. Staff are lovely and helpful.

The only reason I put 9 instead of 10 is that rooms didn’t have remote controls for AC We had to call workers every time we wanted to change temperature
