In the entrance there was a smell of cold cigarettes. Not for everyone. Couldnt smell that in the room though.

Its different up there! Its a mountain village. Bathroom was clean, even with hot water. No sink, but you get used to this ;) Bed was okay.

You get what you pay for! Rooms were okay, clean. Towels they gave us smelt like cigarettes. Bathrooms were not clean.

the hotel is a bit old (but absolutely ok for the price). at night and in the evening it was cold, even with two good warm blankets above.

a good budget option! VERY basic, but actually has everything for 1 night. the stuff is nice and ready to help!

The wifi didn't reach the room

It was nice to have a warm blanket and the location was perfect just to walk to mt bromo for sunrise.

It was good value for a one night stay. The wifi worked and there is hot shower which is a big plus after coming back from Bromo.

Actually had hot water - wonderful surprise after a sweaty hike. Comfortable if minimalist rooms & beds. Places to eat & drink close by.

The bathroom was really bad. The toilet didn't have a flush, so I'm not sure how (or if) they are ever clean, when we were there the results were as expected (we used toilets in restaurants). The shower wasn't working either with just a small trickle of ice cold water coming out, barely enough to wash our feet after trekking in the ash plains. It is one of the cheapest places in the village and the location is perfect. If you just stay one night like we did, its fine, but don't expect too much.

The room was clean and comfortable and the location is perfect just a few meters from the park entrance.

Very loud at night due to jeeps passing by starting from 2 am.

We got what we paid for. Rooms are very basics but clean and Homestay is located near restaurants and walking distance to main attractions.

Hot water and comfy beds. Might be a bit chilly if you didn't use two blankets though (the beds are quite big so we both slept in one with both blankets)

The facilities were not up to standard though. The mattresses were very thin so we felt the wood and not comfortable to sleep on. The next morning the water didn’t run anymore. After visiting Bromo we returned to our room and the electricity stopped working. The staff fixed it for us after we mentioned it, but too bad it happened in the first place. We were lucky we had enough water in the morning to flush the toilet. Our room is located close to a kitchen. During the night while we were sleeping, we heard so many noise from people outside of our room. We couldn't sleep well while we have to wake up very early to go to Bromo. The next day, we found out that a big group of guess were using the kitchen and just talk next to our room.

Pak Adi, the owner or the staff was friendly and helpful on giving advice on what to expect when we go to visit the mountain Bromo. The location is located close to Bromo. There are a lot of stores or places to eat on walking distance around the homestay.

Beds are not confortable and probably need a better / extra blanket as it can be chilly during the night. Hot shower but can be reaaaally hot. Take earplugs if you want to sleep after ~2am.

The location is great ! (Be aware you have to pay a kind of fees before to arrive at the homestay, ~30k / person) The room and bathroom were clean. Wifi is working and the common area is good.

It’s very basic but it’s what you expect up in mountains & is fine for one night (you’re likely only spending a few hours there anyway)

Ideal location to stay the night before going to King Kong hill / bromo. The showers have hot water which is a massive bonus especially as it’s pretty cold in cemorolawang.

wifi was a bit weak, you can’t control the temp of the water which came out pretty hot, the mattresses were pretty thin, you could feel the wood beneath which made it not the most comfortable

Basic accommodation with an ideal location for individual hikes in the area (no scooter needed). There is hot water for a nice shower after a freezing sunrise hike!

Serviceable for one night before bromo, reasonable value for money Hot shower which was a godsend after the hike and is the real bonus of this place
