place is very noisy. you can hear any noise in your room and there's dogs barking all day and nights. not good if you have problems at sleeping.

I always choose this place when I need to stay in Canggu for a day or two. There is everything you need, including cats that cleverly sneak into the room :) Intimate atmosphere. Comfortable rooms. A pleasant place to work. And extraordinary greenery around.

I love the place since very long time and always stay there. Basic but very comfy all-you-need in rooms, close to all fav restaurants amd shortcut to the main beaches. The place is taken care with love: all green inside, cozy pool, events, mini kitchen, many pets, vey nice staff. And especially i love the rooftop with sunset/seaview ❤️❤️❤️

Got the room 202 which was upstairs. But the room faces the morning sun so don’t expect the room to be pitch dark upon sunrise as the room doesn’t have blockout curtain or blinds. Just normal roller blinds and frosted windows.

This is our third time here. love how the staff make the effort to decorate the room with flower petals and towel deco for my partner’s bday. This place is great for couples with the whole set up - room deco and outlook is 💯

Generally, this small hotel is clean but gettimg old. I have stayed in most rooms n booked 5 rooms on my last visit Jun/July 23. Hope the following can be addressed on my next visit : - bathroom fixture esp shower heads are rusty and leaking. Should be replaced after so many years. - suspect water tanks are rusty as water looks brown sometimes - WCs are old n look stained and black inside - some rooms do not have safe box? (211?) - damaged light bulbs need to be checked and replaced. (my last stay has blown bulbs on bedside) - did not see any torn bath towels this time. - plse do not cut down the mature creepers on the wall or entrance. They bot only enhanced the aesthetics but help to cut down hear fr the super hot bali sun.

Excellent staff and customer service. I have booked n stayed here many times since it opened n every year! The team of young staff has been with Semimpi from opening, grew into fine mature adults and still there. Says much of the good management!! And yes, the endearing house cats and dogs who would check you into your rooms..makes this little hotel special too.

I really liked the room with pool access and the friendly people in the recreation area. It was especially nice to spend time in the pool, immersing myself in the cool water after a long day. Moreover, the atmosphere in the room was very comfortable and cozy. All of this created the perfect atmosphere for a complete relaxation. I will definitely come back here again!

Very nice hotel, good internet. The rooms are spacious and cozy. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is varied and delicious. The hotel's location is very convenient, there are shops and restaurants nearby.

location’s bit tucked away from the central, but it wasnt too far from the Bali hustle & bustle. wish the bathroom could be bigger & updated. the TV is a bit outdated

The pool lights seemed to be out. Which meant no night swims but small issue which I'm sure is being fixed.

All good in the hood

Great location, tucked away from the hustle of the busy streets but close distance busy suburbs such as canggu and seminyak. Staff very friendly, peaceful ambience with a mix of tourists. Room was perfect and simple, bed comforatble, pool is a nice feature. Price was re asonable. Hot tip! For transport Benny's motorbike for rent is close by, what's app the number and they can arrange for a bike rental to be dropped to the hotel and you pay cash for the time you need it. You can even arrange for them to pick it up when your done. Gives you the freedom to come and go and enjoy the congrats between busy and quiet

The barking dogs in the morning but that’s not really Semimpi’s fault :) last morning they started some noisy work on the roof just above my head though, before 8am…

24h reception. Room is clean and spacious enough when you carry a small suitcase. Decent wifi. Kind and available staff. Don’t have to wait for hot water. Chilled place. Can buy drinks on site, no need to go out when you’re tired and lazy :) the cats <3

Locate in a low traffic area. Lovely spacious room with modern/ industrial aesthetic, plenty of space to hang your clothes, make yourself at home, and set up area to work if you need to. There is also a shared space to work more communally and there looked to be a couple of digital nomads doing just this. Great if you can also work remotely but don't always want to be working at a bar where you have to buy drinks all day. Although the kitchen closed down during the pandemic there is a communal meal prep area and coffee station that was super welcome. There is a bakery about 5 mins walk from the property where you can grab breakfast.
