I really felt like in a sanctuary. This resort is an oasis of silence. It's a very special resort, very different of others. You feel connected 100% with the nature. The beautiful beaches and the views delight your eyes. The amenities were amaizing, as well as the resort's staff. When you are traveling with a baby, a buggy is pretty difficult to use because of the sandy road. It will be better if you just bring a carrier. Despite the nice room, unfortunately, the bathtub is located outside the room, and at night it was pretty dark, and bugs were coming.

The place is very beautiful with a private beach and a nice swimming pool. The beach is very clean with less wind so the kids can safely play and swim there. The breakfast was wonderful with various foods from Western to Asian. We booked an extra bed for our oldest kid and the room is still pretty spacious.

Staffs are helpful. They are full of service with heart. Room The ambiance is peaceful and silent. Perfect for retreat. The place is hidden, to reach there need to rent a car because it is located inside a tropical forest around 2-3 km from the main street. It is a very natural place with a private beach, they keep it clean. The building also has a natural design. The room is clean and comfy. Food is well served in a 5-star hotel. Thank you to Sheraton Belitung Resort for making our holiday wonderful.

Our stay at the Sheraton resort was perfect. It is a resort surrounded by nature where peace reigns and you can relax in the beautiful pool overlooking the sea or on the white beach with direct access from the property. The resort offers several interesting indoor and outdoor activities. We tried kayaking with snorkeling equipment and it was great to be able to reach several small islands from the beach in a few minutes where we also spotted turtles.

The price of the food at the restaurant is quite high - and no other options for food in the hotel.

I loved the beach, the pool also, and over all it was very very good. Staff were all super professional and always helpful. And the food was fine - breakfast had a lot of choices.

The service at the bar and restaurant is very very slow, terribly slow actually. Some of the staff speak very basic English so sometimes they don’t understand what you’re ordering and instead of asking they bring another thing. The hotel realalh needs to improve this and be more fast serving the food or drinks.

The outdoor bathtub was unique but useless. I wonder how many people ended up using them. Your neighbours or passer, if you are on the ground floor, can easily see or even approaching you as there were no barrier. We had unpleasant incident one morning where buggy driver rang our bell in the morning to pick us up. We didn't order but they insisted a woman called and gave our room number. The hotel should've double check as the room number should've shown in their phone as in all other hotels but they said their system was a mess sometimes. Unacceptable. Later on they made formal apology which was proper but I just wish the had manage small error like this (get caller ID please) that it shouldn't happen in the first place. One thing to mention was we feel sorry for our kind man who waited for the towel pool that he has to stand all day in the heat (roof was only decoration). I wish they provide him with a proper 'station' where he can hide from the sun and sit down properly.

The location was a bit isolated but it makes a perfect getaway from the world outside. We spent 8 days in Belitung and have stayed in 2 other hotels. Sheraton was on our last 2 days. We planned to just enjoy the resort. The food, facility and staff's hospitality made our getaway a perfect stay. I like the resort design. Some people said facilities were too scattered around and far from the room, I would say that was the charm. They have buggies available to take you around anytime but we hardly use them as we enjoy walking around the resort. Breakfast was abundant and excellent. We of course had our lunches and diners here as well. All has been excellent.
