A very reasonable and convenient accommodation. I stayed in a private room with ensuite bathroom. It is very conveniently located less than a kilometer from Malang station, lots of eateries around. The places of interest are not very far also. The hostel is clean and has a very pleasant atmosphere, there is a well-equipped kitchen available for guests to use. WiFi is good. It is easy to organise trips from the reception. The best thing about this place is the staff, a bunch of cheerful girls run the reception, they have answers to any kind of query a guest may have, they have a proactive approach and they are very helpful, they go out of the way to sort things out, if required. I had a wonderful stay in this hostel.

Nothing really. Maybe that one of the employees promised to teach us the basics of traditional local Javanese dance, but in the end I guess she was too busy with work ans she didn't do it. It was a pity, because we were really looking forward to it!

The staff was superfriendly. They helped us booking train tickets, recommended restaurants (The Grain Ally!!) and organized tours to the Waterfalls and Bromo for us. Rainbow Village and Blue Village are easy to reach with Grab. They would always ask us how it went and offer tea when we came back. Rooms and showers were clean. Common area was cosy and made it easy to connect with other travelers and do tours together. The couch in the common area was amazing for a power nap after a horrible night train to Malang! They have a shared kitchen, fridge and free water which is really nice, because it was a new hostel which did not serve breakfast yet when we were there. Can't recommend this hostel enough in Malang! Great vibe and amazing staff!

The property was clean and well managed. They had different spaces for guests if they wanted to be social or just wanted to chill. The kitchen was well equipped, with a fridge for guest use. The staff were so helpful and friendly, they went above and beyond for every customer.

It is not a critic about the place itself, but just to help next travellers : in Malang people arrive late or get up super early, because of the tours around the city (Bromo, Sewu...). So don't forget your earplugs, also because the place can have some eccho because of its beautiful hight celeings :)

The staff is simply the best, so nice, welcoming, helpful, making everyone feels special and at home.. i don't have words to describe it ! The place is super clean and confortable and with everything you would need. The bathroom of the dorm was big, spotless and brand new compared to the usual ones. The dorm itself was big, super clean.. The hang out area, in the patio, is comfortable and will allow you to chat easily with other guest, with the staff members.. sometimes for hours !

After staying at Snooze in Banyuwangi it was a no brainer to stay here in Malang as well, and we absolutely loved it!! The house is beautiful and spacious with lots of seating area’s where you can relax. The staff is the best, always ready for a chat, help with planning a tour or transport and they have the best food recommendations! The rooms and facilities are kept clean all day, and the hostel is very quiet. It’s truly the best place for exploring the area but also have some rest and/or be social if you feel like it. We will definitely stay here again when we’re back in Malang!

Unbelievable how beautiful this hostel is. The ladies at the entrance show you everything and help out whatever you need. Everyone new our name after our first arrival here. Also the night guide is helpful, which made us feel very safe. Everything is very clean, calm and perfect to feel like home.

Stayed here in June and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Arrived at a ridiculous time in the morning, to be met by one of the guys who worked there. He set me up in the common room, gave me a towel, blanket and made me a coffee. All the staff there were ridiculously nice and went out of their way to provide recommendations and help with scooter rental, directions and tours. Best place to stay.

I booked a room which was very comfortable, spacious with lovely hot water from the shower. Snooze has great relaxed feel, the staff are amazing, chatty and friendly, always seeing if you want something, also arranged sunrise Bromo tour with hostel pick up. Excellent cafe few doors down for coffee in an upmarket street, 10 mins walk from centre.
