The booking was card only when we would have preferred to use cash. The water pressure was terrible. If 2 people were showering, the water would come out in a trickle. The bathrooms didn't have shelves for shower supplies and the facilities were so dirty. Scummy. It looks like they never clean the shower or the bathroom or the sinks. It was disgusting. The hand soap was so watery that it didn't lather.

The location was convenient and I'm happy they were awake when we arrived at 3:30 am from the train station. The staff was polite and trustworthy. They allowed us to store our bags behind the front desk while we explored the town and our belongings were safe.

The showerbrush was really rusty so it smelled a lot like rust and also your hair and everything. The toilet was also not so nice but for the money I guess its okey.

It was really nice decorated and the wifi was very good! Also I liked the style of the whole hostel. Location perfect but a little bit hard to find.

if someone in any of the top bunks has their light on, everyone at the top will have bright light all around them. because of this I struggled to sleep until about 4am! The place wasn’t as clean as I thought with the photos but it’s ok.

The cleanness of room + toilet. Guests who smoke inside the building ( living room + waiting room) eventho there is a sign of NO SMOKING IN THE BUILDING.

The sleeping place could be improved cause it was a bit dirt on the pillow.

The public facilities were quite clean. There is the coffee place right down the hostel. The place also have a great location.

It was super dirty, no toilet paper, shower with barely any pressure. Staff just laid down smoking most of the time and not too helpfully. Bed sheets stained, and capsules were super dirty; if you had the bottom bunk then you felt like ants were crawling on you. The door to the rooms were hard to open. Looks modern in picture but very much is not.

The dorms were the best I have experienced so far. While you sleep with quite a number of others I still felt like I had privacy. Its clean, the showers were good and personnel was very helpful and nice!

Reception was missed my request, I had to extend and paid, but my belongings were moved without my permission, they said sorry afterwards.

Overall was okay for backpackers people, near by Alun Alun Malang, close to many things/ places and food stalls.

Honestly there is absolutely nothing to be liked at this hostel, I only stayed for one night (was planning to stay there for 2 nights) but it's enough to want to leave

- non English speaking staff - Unclean - No toilet paper - Red ants all over my bed - Unsociable - Freezing cold rooms - Dripping aircon which dripped all day & night creating a flood in the room - Does not look anything like the photos online - No atmosphere - There is no ‘cafe’ it is a Barron, dilapidated coffee shop on the ground floor collecting dust - No hot water - Loud at night - Claustrophobic beds - No proper space to leave your bags - Wi-Fi only exists in the lobby - Cramped living space - Next to the road so very noisy at night - Dirty, reused blankets - Left early as we disliked it so much - I never leave reviews but I thought for the price we paid we should warn other travellers not to go near this hostel. Would absolutely not recommend to anyone.

The property doesn't match what is described on booking on a lot of grounds. The restaurant (from which all the nice coffee photos are coming) doesn't exist anymore. The common areas as described on booking(garden, Terrace and game room) do not exist. There is only a lobby with one table and four bean bags. Also the hostel is not smoke free, there are ashtrays in all hallways and in the lobby, the smell was horrible at times. Also, everything was very dirty. Bathrooms and lockers were full of rust and tarnish. I found someone else's used towel in my locker when i opened it. The bed linnen was full of stains, there where spider webs and a lot of dust. My friend found ants in her bed. Would not recommend going here, especially considering the price

Location near center and facilities is great. Possibility to book tours at reception is nice. Staff was friendly but spoke little English.
