Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IndonesiaI have been staying in this property for more than 3 times because I love this place but the last 2 visits, I had the same rather unpleasant experience. It was about the Hot Water. I know they are using the GAS for the Water Heater (shower), but the staff should always check the level of the GAS if it is almost finished, then they should replace it ASAP, therefore Guest does not have to wait for hot shower. On my last visit which is very recent, I was really really really disappointed... I was just about to go out and start my day, but the hot shower was NOT ON, I tried to call to the receptionist and the TELEPHONE was BROKEN, so I had to walked all the way to the lobby to inform them... 40 minutes later still NO Hot Water... and plus the door hinge at my room was VERY difficult to locked, I always had to ask someone (A guy) to help as the door was stucked.. and I left the property anyway WITHOUT SHOWERING, and back 2 hours later.. and the Door still not fixed (they finished fixing it 40 minutes later, so when I am back the floor was messy , drill on the floor, doors were open, etc) then I can have my shower afterwards.. otherwise the staff will be around there by the room and I could not have my shower by then. I really hope they are more aware of these kind of things and not to cause the Guest's convenience for this little thing that can be easily avoided.

United KingdomThe property is huge. It's composed in 2 parts ( old and new building) the old part is closer to the reception and the new one wherethe the rice field are. We stayed in the old one, the room was huge , very unique style, AC worked perfect fine, had a weak Wi-Fi signal but after mentioning to the receptionist they put an individual router in my room and problem solved. If you need hairdryer or ironing, the hotel doesn't provide that but they were very kind to help me on this occasion, but make sure to bring your own hairdryer. Location is perfect very closed to shops , restaurants, monkey forest etc. My friend had a birthday and they assisted me in surprising him with decorations and a cake.

IndiaFood was average. But there are lots of options outside. The family room's (no. 30) ceiling leaked at night during heavy rainfall. The railing in the family room had Hugh gaps which made it very unsafe for our toddler.
Very large and spacious rooms. Lovely view from the room and balcony of rice fields. It was very calm and soothing to the eyes. You can spend the whole morning sitting there. All basic amenities provided along with the room. The hotel was very centrally located and lots of options for food and shopping just outside the hotel.

AustraliaBreakfast was terrible. I thought had paid for a buffet and it was not. Bread was so sweet and choices very limited. We ended up eating elsewhere even though we had paid for the breakfast. Restaurant food was not nice. Actually I did not see anyone at the restaurant at all and all surrounding ones were full ( we had room service) The beds were also quite firm but that that normal in Bali.
Staff were lovely. Rooms were nice. Place was beautiful. Pool was also nice. Location was good. Next to restaurants, spas and chemists and mini marts

ItalyThey should really improve the food in the restaurant. Me and my sister were there for Nyepi, so no way to get food from outside… Unfortunately 😅 I have been in hostel where the restaurant was wayyy better and even have Gluten free pancake, and bread, here nothing (I mean Ubud is a kind of Mecca about Gluten free, Vegan, healthy food) so they should really really improve that! Considering the kind of resort that it is!
The resort is big and in a perfect location, the staff is welcoming and polite.

United KingdomElectric sockets are in wrong places. Had to plug the kettle in the bathroom Modern TV but no signal. Why spend money fitting a TV if it can't do anything?
The room number 19 is a good size and the shower is the best in Bali at this price. being upstairs there is a lovely view over the rice terraces. We will definitely stay here again. We only used the top pool which was fine.

AustraliaWifi was almost non-existent from my room. I walked to the pool for it no prob, but annoying at night. The bed was ok, but pretty hard with a couple of lumpy springs poking me. Fridge is awkward to get at - just a small issue - it needs to face the front door! The pool bar open hours were too early: 3-6 would be more profitable!
I got a great deal for a King room, ground floor of the 8 room "hotel" building. The room was very spacious, with an entry area to dump your wet stuff (ha ha) good air con, and a freshly renovated bathroom with a fully loaded hot shower. Overlooked from the big balcony, Rice paddies (now owned by the resort) were tended daily in various stages of rice growing and will hopefully remain there forever! Plenty of light and views through floor-to-ceiling windows. An interesting, elongated property, combining classical Balinese bungalows, varying styles of villas surrounding rice fields, and 2 hotel buildings - one overlooking rice fields and the other further down at the back, next to jungle stream. Breakfast included a small but good buffet plus eggs of choice. The staff were so amicable and contributed to my very enjoyable stay. Special thanks to Agung and Putu, whose genuine conversation made me feel like a family friend.

TaiwanThe rack in the bathroom was old and it got disassembled easily.
It’s convenient and it’s on the main road where we could find lots of nice restaurants and shops. Meanwhile it’s quiet and has got a nice pool. What I loved the most is it comes with a drying rack, so whenever we hand washed our clothes, we could dry them outside in the small front yard and they got dry very quickly. This didn’t happen with the previous stay.

United KingdomLittle bit shabby around the edges. All spotlessly clean but could do with a refresh. Little thoughtful touches like hooks on the bathroom walls would be nice. And those bloody sliding front doors were the bane of my life. I left without paying for one massage. A totally innocent mistake. Didn't realise as I was travelling all day with no reception. When I finally opened my phone I had dozens of missed calls, messages etc from two staff members. I appreciate the need for everyone to get paid but it felt a bit like harassment
Great location, off the high street but set far back enough that's its a little peaceful oasis with it's own rice paddies. Ask for a room near the pool or paddies at the back instead of the rooms and villas towards the front. Got visited by naughty monkeys twice. Was hilarious. Really lovely natural setting. You might see the odd toad at night too. You will certainly hear them.
