Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PolandI've read reviews and I was ready for the loud music from nearby restaurant at the evening – it was not a problem to fall asleep. But I wasn't ready for the loud music at 5-6 am ☹️
Aesthetics and atmosphere of the place are really charming, staff was friendly and helpful

AustraliaMusty smell from the bathroom, but hey… it’s Bali. My husband struggled with the weak aircon but the rest of us felt comfortable.
Relaxed and fun place to stop off in Uluwatu with the kids. They loved the pool and skate ramp as well as the cats that came to play. We didn’t mind the reggae and all slept well.

ArgentinaHardly saw any staff around so quite challenging to solve any issues , such as running out of toilet paper, getting the trash picked up and dirty towels changed.
The facilities are beautiful and very comfortable. Great location, although quite noisy at night.

BulgariaTraffic noise - horrendous The shower pressure was poor and hot water wasn’t always available No fridge The room had a bit of a mouldy smell Pool not working Tons of mosquitoes, so didn’t really enjoy the veranda because got bitten regardless of the repellent The space gets flooded from the rain, it not a problem but I think it contributes to the mosquito problem
Wonderful and homely decoration The bed was lovely The room was spacious and had a veranda with couch and space for a coffee There was even a desk in the room There as music from Ulu garden which I personally enjoyed, finished around midnight Staff was lovely 🥰 Cute cats 🐈

GermanyThe room had really high walls and a wooden roof which I adored interior wise even though it definitely made it harder for the AC to keep the room cool. Also keep in mind that there’s lots of nature/greens around, which means there’s mosquitoes. Definitely bring some mosquito spray for the nights! ;)
I loved staying at Sriyana’s! 🥰 I booked it super spontaneously and still got welcomed so warmly. The staff is amazing and I felt so safe at anytime. The rooms really got everything you might need as well and I especially loved the interior. What I really adored was that they had a whole mineral water tank in the bathroom for you to drink or brush your teeth with. It’s located super central, there’s grocery stores, shops and restaurants around and they have their own bar/restaurant as well. The food is great!! I really loved my stay there and wish I could have stayed even longer :)) I will definitely come back! Thank you so much!

AustraliaA fridge in the room would have been great.
We had two side by side rooms and they were both decorated differently with really cool items, mostly surf themed related. The bed was soft, and so were the pillows. The home stay is at walking distance from Uluwatu and Thomas beaches and in the middle of cafes, restaurants and shops. The homestay is linked to the Vida Loca restaurant so they deliver food to your room, which was awesome, specially when we just arrived after a 2 hour drive from Canggu. Each room has a drinking water dispenser.

FranceAs above. The bar and traffic noise.
The property is well decorated and cozy, very adorable! the location is great in terms of being right on a high street and being able to walk to good eats within a few metres. The BUT is that it is right next door to a bar that has live music and a road with loud traffic late at night. Even as a heavy sleeper, I had a hard time with that.

NetherlandsRight next door, there’s a band playing until 23h every day. It really is right next to the room and since the roof is made of bamboo, it’s as if you’re at the concert itself. Because it’s reggae, we weren’t too bothered by it, but don’t go there if you have a hard time falling asleep with noise around :). We were fine it as we were there only 2 nights.
The design of the hotel is very pretty and cozy. It’s comfortable, clean and has all that you need. The location is good, with nice coffee bars and restaurants around, as well as beaches on walking distance. Would definitely recommend!

Czech RepublicMy door couldn't be locked. For me too noisy from outside but you are in Heart of Uluwatu so that is not surprise. No breakfast unfortunately. No kettle to make Tea in the Room (But I asked for it and they gave it to me so that was nice).
Very spacious room, a bit too many decorations for me but that is just personal. They provide drinking water in the room. Good location. Very nice and helpful staff.

BrazilYou can listen what people are talking in the room closed to yours. Lose to the hotel is a bar /restaurant with live music all night . I was suposed to rest , not to be in a noise place. Staff don’t speak English and many times they don’t have the offers for the breakfast . Like : no napkins today , no pancakes etc etc
The room is big and comfortable

AustraliaOnly little things but …The rooms don’t have fridges and the road noise and music from nearby venues at night is a downside . (Earplugs needed) And the electricity cut out a few times when I used a hair dryer .
The beautiful gardens with eclectic decor makes for a relaxed coastal feel. The staff are so lovely . You feel safe and at home here.
