We had such a wonderful time at this villa we wished we could have stayed longer. Muri the manager was a sweetheart always there to help out. The cleaning staff was respectful & efficient. We loved the decor & refreshing pool surrounded by lush tropical plants & flowers. Starling villas felt like an oasis. Would recommend 100% for a lovely stay in Sanur! The villa is a short walk from the main road with delicious cafes, restaurants & Kao Shala yoga studio.

Tv could have been better and a comfy chair for relaxing in the living room.

Only of our age it was a little bit far from main area and beach. It was roomy. Plenty of space. I would have liked aircon in living area. It was very hot in the afternoons.

That the ownwers do nt see through the eyes of a child

I made my own breakfast. These are apartments with kitchen, dishes, frig so you can do what you want when you want. If you must have some one else cook your breakfast it can be done here but myself I would rather do my own. This a a private property. No real car traffic Minutes from the beach and the grocery store. Easy walking path to view the Sanur beach area and a great bicycle trail that is really worth the 400 rupiah to enjoy a good deal to ride the whole trail

Air conditioning is a little bit weak, not enough for all rooms and kitchen. But anyway - good for the price.

A lot of space, very comfortable bathroom, small kitchen is present. Table for work is available. Unlimited drinking water.

This place is a gem! We had such an amazing time at starling villas. Muri is a wonderful host, super helpful, friendly and supportive. Our little daughter was sick and she helped us a lot in finding an appointment with a doctor. She also gave us a lot of nice recommendations and it was great to spend time with her and the team. The accommodation itself is very well equipped, nice chill-out area, cute pool and very laid back atmosphere. There are a couple nice warungs around the corner and it’s a short walk to the beach :) we extended our stay and would recommend this place to everyone going to Sanur! Thank you for everything ♥️

The door to the bathroom had to be locked if you wanted it shut as the latch didn't work but that's just me being picky. We did get a swarm of small bugs every day in the bathroom but they stayed on the roof so after spraying them one day we didn't bother when they returned because they stayed on the roof and left us alone. The couch in the lounge needs a thicker cushion.

Starling Villas are great value for money. The decor is a little like 80's eclectic had a baby with moroccan bohemia. We arrived late at night but were greeted by the Manager. The Villa is large. One side is the bedroom and bathroom. The other is the kitchen and lounge area. A glass sliding door divides the two areas. There are heavy black curtains you can close if one person is asleep and the other is awake or to shut out the daylight. The rooms are older but well kept and clean. The bathroom had a shower and bath. The bath would be difficult to get in and out if you have mobility issues as it's very tall and deep. The shower is easy to access. The villa itself is good if you have mobility issues as there is only a small step to get inside and the rest of the villa is one level. Side note: We don't have mobility issues but I'm aware we will one day. The kitchen has the basics including a cook top. No microwave. Bottled water on tap which is great. The TV is tiny but you're on holiday so who cares and it has Netflix. The location was great. Starling Villas is located in a quiet side street in Sanur. You cannot hear the traffic at all. It sits between the main road in Sanur and the Bypass Rd. Grab and Gojek had no problem in finding the Villas. You also get a free cat with every room. The resident cats are very friendly. There is an outdoor communal pavilion where you can eat and there is a microwave there. We never used the pool but it was clean and looked nice. There were a few families staying there at the same time as us. Despite the little kids floating around it was really quiet. The rooms were cleaned every day. There are quite a few restaurants very near by and as mentioned, the main road through Sanur is only 400 metres away. There are a lot of very good restaurants, spas and shops nearby. There is a supermarket just around the corner on the main street. I rate Starling Villas very highly for value for money.

Absolutely loved our stay here, it was a great place with all the facilities you require for enjoyable holiday, very close to restaurants, warungs, massages, laundry. Close to the main street of Sanur and 10 Min walk to the beach. The hosts Simon and Muri made you feel so welcome, they go way beyond to make your stay excellent, highly recommend this place for holidays whether for a short or long stay. We shall be back again next year, thanks so much!!

There was nothing I didn't like.

Starling Villas is just a short walk to all the restaurants and cafes. And a 15 minutes walk to the beach.

Bathroom door would not close properly so air conditioning struggled a little.

Our room was located on a corner so we did get a little bit of road noise, but nothing that wasn't manageable.
