FranceWater on shower was either cold or boiling. The staff managed to set it to medium hot after a bit of tuning. In the early morning we didn't have anymore water nor electricity. Not great in case you hope your phone is charging overnight or if someone wants to shower before leaving. Not that big of a deal, but we would have appreciated more communication upfront to warn us of all this. For the overall experience, I find it slightly too expensive for what it is.
As much as humidity is present, indeed everywhere in the village, the bed was ok, and the blanket was warm enough for us to sleep alright. The location is good, not far from Bromo Park. It took us 1h walk to get the bottom of the volcano and find a spot to catch sunrise. Despite the negative points we described, it was ok for one night, and anytime we asked something to the staff they could answer our request.

Switzerland- from 1:30am loud noice of the cars going to Mount Bromo. We wanted to catch sleep a bit longer, because of that couldn’t. - extremely humid air - no ventilation - made a impression of having everything wet
For the plus: - very kind, smiling and helpful staff - location for the Mount Bromo hike - towels exchange when asked - warm water in the shower (evenings get chilly here)

Great place from which to go to see the sunrise on Mt. Bromo (you can go walking to most of view points in 1h00-1h30, try to avoid jeeps, they are terrible). Friendly staff.

QatarRoom needs thorough cleaning. Need to have a kettle with hot water to drink at least. We asked the staff and he showed us the kitchen but it's dirty so we don't want to even enter the kitchen. Sometimes there'e no hot water in the bathroom but just inform the staff and they'll help you.

PolandIt is not so clean, with no option for breakfast or meal.
It is a very basic, backpacker-standard hostel/hotel. It is very conveniently located, very close to the entrance to Bromo Park and to the exit to the Bromo viewpoint. You can walk by yourself, without any need for an organized tour or a guide.

AustraliaEverything needed a good wipe down, cleanliness was not good. Bedding smelt dirty. Asked for a transfer from the airport and got quoted 950k - a grab is 750k, and you can easily negotiate at the airport with others too, so I didn't trust them to give me sensible prices on any extras because of this. The room had one power socket but it wasn't usable because of how high it was on the wall - make sure you are not relying on a socket if you go.
Perfect location if you want to hike to the viewpoints and the crater. Hot water in the shower. Blanket was warm enough if you layer up for bed. Staff were friendly. Value for money for this area.

The location was great and near the Bromo and where you enter the park. We booked a family room and the rooms were really big and we had plenty of space.

Great location for hiking to Mt Bromo and the sunrise viewpoints. Room was basic but good value for money and bed was comfortable and had a duvet. Wifi was great and we could use the kitchen to boil water. Staff were friendly.
