No safe in our room. Food was average we ate a lot at the chill just down the road even though we had breakfast included. My sons bed sheet had a hole in it we were there 3 nights and wasn’t changed. Had to ask for the towels to be changed.

Views were great and nice pools. Room very spacious and modern. Staff helpful when asked and could rent scooters at hotel.

Sadly there was a problem with our booking and we received a different room as booked, not entirely their fault but more so of the person placing the information on Booking.com. We didnt really receive a compensation or apologies, it felt like they put the blame on us for booking the wrong thing. There is no hot water in the room by default, having a huge bath is great but having to order water from downstairs that they'll boil for you beats the purpose of a relaxing bath as it gets cold pretty quickly.

Great location in Nusa Penida, the rooms were clean and the service was great throughout our stay. Perfect for a day or two while you're travelling. Our room was next to the pool which was amazing and waking up with an ocean view is breathtaking.

They didn't have phone in the room to communicate with the reception, everytime you will have to walk upstairs even for water or any other facilities that you need.

The room has the toilet visible from bed. We couldn't leave the curtains open because it wasn't private enough. The bath didn't have any hot water but the shower did.

Beautiful views, the pool was lovely at the end of a busy day. The breakfast was sufficient and most staff were really helpful.

staff was incompetent and needed to be reminded multiple times about everything. the breakfast menu was very limited and multiple listed items on the menu, also for lunch and dinner, were unavailable. the organized driver was delayed, unfriendly and on the phone the whole time making it a rather uncomfortable ride. unfortunately the resort is separated into two parts divided by the Main Street. the whole property, except the room interior needs to be renovated.

Services by the hotel is not good..we have to go to the reception for all the single things we need during our stay like bath towels, glasses, ice or even the restaurant food was not deliverable in our room. We have to go and take it.

Decided to ignore the reviews and try anyway - big mistake. Not sure what makes this a 5 star property and was very disappointed. There was an awful smell coming through the drains & air con unit and had to request to move rooms. The staff told me it was ‘normal’ and offered spray to mask the smell. They eventually moved us to another room. Some restaurant staff were very miserable which made us feel uncomfortable. Cleaners took ages to clean the rooms and not professional when I observed them (from the pool) clean another room. There wasn’t much amenities to use - very basic. The pool drains area wasn’t overly clean.

There was a restaurant upstairs so didn’t need to leave the property. They did organise a taxi and boat trip for us which was amazing. Very pricey taxi’s though!

If we weren’t capable of driving a scooter, the location is limiting. Breakfast is average. There is an air conditioning vent in the stairwell as you’re coming up the stairs on the left hand side. Being tall, I hit my head on this VERY hard causing a cut, lump and bleeding. Please cover the sharp cover of this with some foam so anyone that is tall does not have this injury.

Beautiful view from the waterfront. Pool is in a great location. It’s so nice to hear the ocean and have the water right at your doorstep.

The check in process was not good. On booking.com the check in time said it was 12pm. We were under the impression we could check in once we arrived. We arrived at about 1:15pm, but we’re told that our rooms were not ready, which was fine because we enjoyed a meal at the restaurant, we didn’t enter our rooms until 2:30pm. A more updated time on the website would have made things easier for us as we planned an earlier trip due to the information we had. Also the only way to access your rooms is via stairs. This may be a concern for those that mobility and accessibility issues.

Property is beautiful and overlooks the ocean. There is a restaurant and bar that connects with the hotel that makes it really easy to enjoy a meal or a drink. The rooms are gorgeous and spacious. The rooms are in a perfect position to enjoy the sunrise over the ocean.

No idea how this Hotel got five Stars…i do not recommend to go there. I am usually not someone to complain fast. Staff doesn’t look very happy neither.

Communication. Communication. Communication. My booking was canceled because there was no water available to be used in the hotel at the time. I have been calling the property about 30 times but no answer. Good thing I called last minute, and someone answered and told me that there is no water and it’s best to book at another facility. They told me as we’re riding the fast boat from main island, bali to Nusu Pineda. It’s so sad, but good thing there are other villas still available to book at that time. But I wish the communication would improve.

The property is good and it seems good for vacation.

The fact that the rooms are new most probably is a negative thing as the shower is with stones and with the humidity in 2 nights we found 5 cockroach. To don't talk about the rats at the reception. we were talking with one of the staff and i wasn't sure if i saw 2 or more rats, the confirmation came when one of the rat bit the receptionist. Could be one of the best hotel in the island but with all these negatives stuff i wouldn't recommend
