Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaThere was really only 2 things that i thought could be improved and that was the rooms could be quite noisy at night, not coming from inside the hotel but the 2 rooms i had although on level 3 backed onto a small lane way which scooters would use to use to pass through at all hours also there was like a residential compound next to the lane way and i could quite often hear people yelling and carrying on and dogs barking. If I was really tired I could sleep through it and it wasn't nearly as loud in the suite room as in the superior room but when having trouble sleeping it could be quite noisy at times. I would suggest staying on the Kuta side of the hotel next time as there is no lane way. The breakfast was nice but really basic, egg station, two types of fruit, two types of cereal, coffee, tea, juice normally a sausage dish, potato dish, baked beans, noodle dish, rice dish, an Indonesian vegetable dish, an alternating fish and chicken dish, croissants, toast and a selection of tomatoes and a few other vegetables. Sadly No bacon.
Fantastic cheap hotel, clean, good location with super friendly and helpful staff. Super comfie, beds and pillows, I stayed in a suite for 14 days and a superior double room for another 2 days. Loved having lots of room to move in the suite, the bathroom, shower and toilet area was a decent size. The superior room although quite abit smaller was still more then enough for just me, although the bathroom was quite small with the toilet tucked behind the door. The shower area was still quite large. Both rooms were clean and the rain shower shower heads were fantastic, Nice cold air conditioning and cold fridges. Both the pools got a good amount of sun and were a great temperature for swimming. Although the roof top was really shallow and there was not alot of shade. The level 3 pool was fantastic you could people watch people on JL Legian going about their day right from the pool. There were sun loungers in the shade as well so you could avoid the sun beating down on you, there were also some sun lounges in the sun for those that like to sun bake as well. The swim up pool bar was always staffed. They also had beanbags in an area not far from the pool so you could just chill and relax

AustraliaRoom A/C difficult to use, either cold or hot. Room was noisy as neighbours in street below room, talked loudly ALL NIGHT in a private home. Breakfast needed variations, same food daily, little choice given. Room was a long walk from entrance and lift/elevator. Pool was closed for renovations, pool on roof had no shade, not sun-safe.
Location great as Legian Street has many restaurants. All staff friendly and helpful, especially Room Service.

AustraliaNot much not to like really. It was a pleasure to stay here.
The staff are very accommodating and polite. The facilities are very good with a day spa and roof top pool/bar. You are not in Seminyak but it’s only a short grab ride away to most places.

IrelandThere were a lot of small insects inside the rooms. Which cannot be helped by the hotel if the ants wish to come in. But I got a lot of bites in the first night because of this
Very clean and the facilities were really nice. They accommodated for our early breakfast and had a breakfast box available for us at 6am before our tour. Really nice and welcoming

AustraliaThe breakfast on this visit was not great for a western diet. Cereal with fresh milk had been removed. Toaster was broken.
This is our second stay and this time only for the one night. Easy access to both Legian and Kuta, close to memorial site. The rooftop infinity pool is pleasant to swim in. The room is a fair size, in good condition. comfortable bed good shower

AustraliaClearly COVID has had an impact on this and probably most hotels, with maintenance needed in some areas around the pool. The lift was out of action during our stay, which wasn’t a problem for us being on the second floor, but perhaps a heads up in case it was a problem for those with mobility difficulties would be good.
Great location in the heart of Legian. Staff were great, helpful and friendly. Great value for money.
