Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaWeird pool access rooms on ground floor kind of block off ability to walk easily about the pool and access is a little annoying in places as a result. Not a deal breaker but worth noting. Floor tiles in walkway areas get very slippery.
Great location. 10min walk to beach and walk to so many shops and facilities just down the street. Very large resort with excellent facilities. Does feel like it very much caters to the Asian and Indian clientele. Evidenced by their extensive breakkie menu! Breakkie did not disappoint! Huge and so very many options. 👏 Rooms were huge and super clean. Big balcony overlooking the pool area. Swim up pool bar. Huge pool area. We only had a one night stay but would return.

AustraliaNo toilet block outside next to the pool. You had to walk through the restaurant or reception to go to the toilet in wet clothes. This could be 80 metres if you were near the middle of the pool area. Bar service around the pool was non existent, staff stayed around the bar not wanting to leave the area.
Nice pool area. Location to shops and restaurants . Friendly staff. Breakfast was plentiful.

AustraliaToilet weak flushing. Air conditioning was too strong on the low setting. Reception called us at 8.45pm when we were in bed asking if we needed a wake up call. Everyone has a mobile phone with an alarm. Forget about wake up calls. Hotel is aging and not as nice as photos on booking.com Too many Balinese hanging around outside the hotel asking guests if they want a taxi, massage, dinner, tour, or something else. This was very annoying.
Swimming pool is excellent. Breakfast is excellent. Wirik (staff) was very helpful at breakfast. Many restaurants and shops up and down the road.
