How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Wasn’t comfortable with other guests was smoking next to my room, it should be make it separate about smoking and non smoking room.

As said i had a problem with my room and the staff found a new room straight after, which was very helpful, unfortunately the new room had lack of cleaning; i appreciate the help they provided, i would have loved to wait a couple of hours more for the room and receive it finished
Located next to the main strip of Sanur, this hotel surprised me for the peaceful vibe it brings along still being so central. Rooms are wide and with nice patio. I had ab issue with aircon and the staff promptly helped out, much appreciated

The fridge was noisy. Poor selection of tv channels. Much water on the floor during shower.
Great location and the condition of the property fair. Nice garden.

Our bedroom window faced east. The bedroom curtain was pretty sheer. It did not block any sunlight from entering the room from 5.30am onwards. I overcame the problem by standing on the bed and pegging 2 pool towels to the top of the curtain.

Room very basic and outdated but value for money.
We stayed one night before our trip to Nusa Lembongan was perfect for that. Property was extremely clean Brilliant location restaurants, massage and bars all with in minutes of the property. Pool super warm

Didn’t have hot water for first day. Bathroom could do with an upgrade and some fresh silicone around the bath.
Nice breakfast, lovely pool, quiet and clean.

Liked the bungalow, garden and pool not far from some beautiful beaches. The manager was very friendly and helpful.

The shower was not very well cleaned and the bedroom could use a refresher. Other than that, it is a good hotel.

Reception staff definitely needs more training was told I couldn’t have a late checkout due to no rooms available although this was arranged previously, also got changed Rooms 3x in a matter of 15 minutes and there was room for late checkout.
We stayed here before for longer periods now it was only 2 nights to be closer to airport.

I got the cheapest room and it was, well, very cheap looking. But the grounds and the pool made up for it.
Good location, beautiful grounds and pool. It’s surrounded by a high stone wall so once you’re inside the craziness of Sanur is blocked out!

Towels weren't clean (makeup stings) and breakfast is very minimalistic. It's a a la carte but the options are very limited. Also there were a lot of mosquitoes and not so many beds near the pool.
Rooms were nice, everything was clean and a good working airco. Location is great, close to everything and you can walk everywhere. Staff was kind and you could always go there with questions and they would do everything to help you. Pool is also nice and the garden is very well maintained.

A bit old and low quality room facilities, half of the things not working properly. Balcony is dangerous for the kids, as some parts have no barriers.
Pool is clean (overflow from sides is supposedly filtered) and in a beautiful landscape with palms and orange roofs. Quiet setting, except the nearby construction. Very helpful staff.

Amenities were almost basic. A small capsule of shower gel and shampoo were provided for washing up. Also provided were several sachets of coffee and tea, and two bottles of water. The hotel needs a refurbishment. Generally, it is run-down. The windows could not close properly. The pool surrounds have algae, which is unsightly. Don't expect luxury.
Seclusion. Quiet. Away from the main street. A little oasis. The room was clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. Simple breakfast included.
