unfortunately I think due to just coming back from Covid, hotel wasn’t the same as when I stayed in 2019. The pool bar wasn’t open and there is no room service currently. I did have to go ask the reception to come re clean bathroom when I arrived

The internet was poor in most areas of the hotel. I have stayed here many times before and now the hotel policy seems to have altered and several guest had dogs who at times were very noisy barking.

The hotel is in a wonderful location close to restaurants and shi shi nightclub but we were never disturbed by any noise. The rooms were adequate and comfortable and serviced efficiently each day

Toilet was very old and dirty from the inside. Should be replaced! Safe to store important belongings was missing.

Great location in the central of petitenget. Near restourants, pub, minimarket etc. The hotel has a big garden with lots of tree so make it green and fresh. The staffs are friendly.

The noise of the bars and clubs is loud if your room faces the road.

I love this place. It’s very clean. The pool is a decent size and clean. There was always plenty of loungers. It’s a short walk to the W hotel where you can renter the beach for a lovely sunset beach walk. It’s about a 10min walk to potato head beach club. About a 20 minute walk to kudeta beach club. The pain au chocolates in the almost next door at the patisserie in kanvaz village are the best pain au chocolates ever and I’ve eaten them in France. The gourmet cafe out the front of the hotel offers lots of tasty local and western food at affordable prices. The hotel itself is incredibly affordable. The rooms are a big size and cleaned regularly. I recommended this hotel to friends who visited me while I was there and they also loved it. The staff are super friendly and helpful too. Oh it’s also a short walk away the fabulously new iron fairies bar. Check it out. It’s also amazing there.

I don’t think I should have had to pay for the first night since I had to negotiate with the staff for hours at night before being moved to a working room. Even then I was “summoned” to the front desk to settle payment at 1 am. Got two hours of sleep, endless stress, paid in full.

They gave me a horrible experience on the first night (I reviewed that separately) but a lady took over on day 2 after which it was smooth. Hotel is decent though book Executive rooms if you can-the lower variety aren’t very great.

I had booked their standard room. Had to leave in a rush so only realised at 11.30 pm when I got back to the hotel that the AC in the room wasn’t working. The unit was so badly deteriorated and malfunctioning that no way they did not know it wasn’t working before they gave me the room. First the man at the desk kept claiming for over an hour the AC is working even though the room was a sauna. Then he finally shifted me at 1 am to an Executive room. I had an early morning trip so had to leave at 6 am and be gone the whole day but he insisted I will have to vacate the new room the next day and shift back to the previous one after they have replaced the AC in that. At this point, I don’t trust them to just claim they replaced and give me the same thing again. The websites are all showing several Executive rooms available but he is insisting they are all booked. The man’s attitude was as if I’m some kind of beggar for having booked the lower tier and have no rights to be treated with decency. I went and booked an Executive room for the next day so he won’t disrupt my trip but old man still kept insisting that won’t work and he will make me go back. So now I’m on my trip with 2 hours of sleep thanks to all this. DO NOT GO HERE.

Whatever I liked was overshadowed by the horrifying experience I had with them so don’t bother with this place.

Taman Ayu has been a regular stay every year for me and my wife but, has not been well maintained with failing bathrooms and aging facilities. It needs investment to bring life back into it and letting it degrade into a cheap backpacker stay.

Facilities not the best. Not the cleanest sheets with marks on and believe you could get somewhere for a similar standard a lot cheaper... the pictures make the place look better than it actually is. However if your looking for a base and will use it only to sleep it will tick the box.

Staff very nice and helpful and nice surroundings outside and pool was ok outside. Some great places nearby and the beach so location very good.

Right in the heart of Seminyak but behind a wonderful cafe (gourmet cafe) so not right on the street which was great for noise control. Aircon worked well, bed was comfortable enough, pool was cute.

We stayed 4 nights. I had read the bad reviews so we tried to upgrade to the “best room” to avoid . Room 12.1. Unfortunately it lived up to bad reviews for most part. The bed linen, towels etc were old and poor quality. The bed linen was dirty when we arrived, I had to ask for them to change the sheets. Not white at all, visible old stains present, terrible first impression! And left a bad taste the whole stay. Everything smelt musty. Even when replaced linen still had stains on it- not white like other hotels but appreciate staff changing (although I think it should be standard to have clean bedding…) The hotel says it has robes/slippers etc- it’s false advertising. The robes I had to ask for and again I don’t know where they clean their linen but everything just doesn’t feel clean I didn’t wear it anyway. No slippers. The bathroom is so poorly lit and old stains on floor, rusty shower. The curtains in the main room are ripped and stained. It’s a budget hotel , and the staff are lovely and accommodating. For me personally due to the cleanliness and first impression I would not stay again. If they upgraded their linen (sheets/towels ) etc and maybe if we had a different room I would stay if I only needed to stay for 1 night and didn’t want to spend time in hotel. Lots of potential- with a few minor upgrades it could be great as budget hotel.

Staff were good and very responsive which was great. Very prompt with requests. Big rooms and lots of space. The location was great and the garden area outside was great. New gym not bad. Good they provide water coffe and daily room service. Nice to have own balcony and it’s quiet and central location Loved that you could have dogs there! If I could bring my dog would maybe have been worth it.
