The ocean and beach was littered with trash and it was very sad but that is no fault of the resort. Perhaps provide trash bags for those who wish to clean up the beach.

The staff! Everyone smiled, the massages were amazing and the kids loved the pool so much! Excellent live music or Bali dance every night and the staff worked with us to schedule any and everything we could dream up. We wanted for nothing and were treated like royalty for four straight days. It was magical.

A few cats and dogs roaming around (but no chickens and very few mosquitos - both a common curse in Bali)

Beautiful environment, well laid out and spread out gardens. Individual rooms laid out with great care and attention. Beachfront bar and dining, a real bonus. And right in front of the coral reef redevelopment (which is going well)

Mosquito everywhere in the room and no amount of spray helped. Just out of hospital with dengue fever didn’t help either.

Just losing power

Great location and accommodation. Lost power for 5 hours overnight which was uncomfortable but otherwise all good. Recommend doing the boat tour to Menjagan Island for snorkelling or straight off beach. Found nemo fish there.

They do not provide blankets for beds (?!). And they do not inform guests that they can provide them upon request, all of which likely to save on laundry cost. That's why I'm giving 9 instead of 10, our first night was horrible because we were to cold and after turning off AC, the room was to wet due to humidity in Bali. The next day my family mentioned we can ask for blankets, my point is we should not have to ask for this basic bedding amenity. At the very least, they could leave them in the room for guests to use.

You get what you see and more. The staff, the rooms, the location and the food are all top notch!

The food was disappointing. Limited options and not flavoursome. Although we loved the granola at breakfast, it needed more yogurt and the eggs Benedict wasn’t great. Good gelato. There are other restaurants nearby

Lovely spot right on the beach. Nicely laid out. Spacious gardens and decent pools. The coral reef regeneration project is an interesting extra feature. We liked their eco initiatives- no plastic, water recycling etc

the sea was very dirty in from of the hotel. Guests were offerered a bag to pick garage in the sea and on the seaside.

Staff and the service at the front desk and restaurant were great. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The setting was beautiful. The rooms were very comfy. It was wonderful waking up every day and swimming and having breakfast on the beach in the shade of the trees.

Next to the turtle reservation. So don’t forget to go feed them at 430 pm. The food at the restaurant is all right, but there’s no other good restaurant nearby so got no choice. The beach area is nice.

The bar prices where so expensive very quiet everyone walked to a bar up the beach where drinks were half the price.

Breakfast was little simple and not so much choices Bungalows are somewhat worn out, so renovations are needed Very limited storage space for clothes etc., had to keep them in suitcases

Location was perfect, close enough to the local main street to have options with lunch/ dinner. Hotel area is very well maintained, pools were nice. Very friendly staff!

Taman Sari is a wonderful hotel. We booked a 3 bedrooms villa at first, we found there is one room on the 2nd floor. Because my friends do have a lot of luggages, the hotel upgraded us to four rooms villa for free. Which is really sweet. I regret that we came here during the rainy season and the weather was not particularly good. I will definitely come back to Taman Sari next time if I have a chance! Thank all the stuffs very much

The day we arrived, the beach was full of litter which was not great but not a fault of the resort

Buffet breakfast would have been better as it was an a la carte menu and found it a bit limited but the food was good.

Super little resort - almost family run. Lovely individual detached rooms, good home cooked food with a decent choice at fabulous prices. Decent massages and very close to dive shops for diving the Liberty wreck. Brilliant little resort.

Restaurant food needs improving. But that wouldn't keep me from going back. We live in Bali & our visits to Taman Sari are our regular treat to ourselves :)

Fabulous place! Beautiful rooms, super clean, stunning mountain views, clean beach & water, good snorkeling right off the beach, pet friendly. Exceeded all expectations!

Outside of the resort there's not much going on so if u want to shop or go out for a meal it's a bit of a drive

The whole resort is great,not overly priced like most resorts, meals were served quickly and were always good,the pool area is fantastic,rooms are spacious and clean the shower area is open so you see the stars while having a shower,the staff are helpful and always say hello and even the onsite shop had good prices for clothing, overall I wished I could have stayed longer

There is nothing that I did not like

I enjoyed everything about this property. The amazing staff were friendly, kind and caring, the beautifully landscaped grounds, the lovely pool area, the luxurious room was very comfortable and cleaned daily, the breakfast was excellent., the massage at the spa was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend it
