Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CyprusOne of the most unique and amazing experiences we have had. ALL staff were first of all humble human beings, with big smiles and professionals at all times, asking about your stay and if there is anything you'll like. The resort is of maximum and unbelievable standards, of hygiene and relaxation to the fullest, in the forest of UBUD. Breakfast was sublime as well as the Kalyana Restaurant with lots of different choices and flavours. Spa services was the BEST we've had ever.

AustraliaI can’t really fault anything about the resort itself. I do wish that resorts offered competitive prices for the spa treatment. I feel that Grab and Gojek are so accessible these days that people would rather travel out of the resort to go to spas because you can find them for 60% to 70% cheaper I know you have the convenient of being able to have a massage at the resort, but if anything like we are who had one to massages every day, they add up and we love a good saving
1. Excellent location - walking distance to everything you’d need, shops, restaurants, Cafes, massage, money exchange ect 2. Clean and comfortable room - rooms are well maintained. Beds are very comfy and the pillows have been the best we’ve slept on in Bali. 3. Amenities - has everything you need for your stay You wouldn’t really need to leave the resort if you didn’t want to. My suggestion for room location. I do believe all rooms are pretty much identical in the way of layout. My top recommendation would definitely be Valley Villa Terrace Villa These rooms offer exceptional views from your room if you really want to experience the awe of Ubud then these rooms are for you. Every evening you are treated to a sunset from these rooms. I think these are the only rooms that offer sunset views. These rooms share the same view or similar view as the main infinity pool and where you go to have breakfast every morning they have pictures on their website Forest villa Two bedroom villa These villas face towards the left-hand side of the resort both offering beautiful views, they share the same view as that of Jivanti lounge & anandin function room they have pictures on their website they share the same walkway as the Garden Valley villas My least favourite Garden Villa Now don’t get me wrong these villas are also absolutely beautiful. We booked this Villa, but I was really wanting the view so we decided to see if there were any other villas available and we came across the Terrace Villa. I was glad we made the switch because the room offered a view that you just couldn’t get from the garden villas.

Scent in the whole area was so delightful. Every night they were bringing a mosquito repellent to our garden & good night story with water supplies. United StatesThis hotel is incredible. The service was the best we have ever had. Everyone greeted you with a smile and was always eager to answer any question and make you feel welcomed. Our driver/ tour guide, Made, was amazing, we highly recommend him for booking any tours or any rides around the island. He lets you know about the culture and the local knowledge, we were very grateful for him. Overall, the villas are incredible, the food, the spa, everything about this place is 10/10. We will always recommend Tejaprana Bisma to anyone who wants to stay in Ubud.

AustraliaThe TV in the room could have been a SMART TV with Youtube and Netflix. It was quite old and did not allow to connect with our phones.
The hospitality was amazing. We booked day tours through the hotel and we were accompanied by hotel staff (Weda and Aris) who guided us during the tours. The staff were very polite and allowed us flexibility to change and reschedule the tours as per our convenience. I would definitely recommend booking tours through the hotel directly for a better experience.

Nestled in the heart of Ubud, Tejaprana Bisma stands as a beacon of luxury, seamlessly blending the allure of nature with the comfort of modern amenities. This hotel is not just a place to stay; it’s an experience that begins with its stunning location near the Monkey Forest and extends to every aspect of its service and accommodation. The true essence of Tejaprana Bisma, however, lies not just in its picturesque villas or its serene environment but in its people, who make every moment spent there unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the reception and housekeeping team welcomed us with the warmth and grace characteristic of Balinese hospitality. Their attentiveness and dedication to ensuring our comfort throughout our stay were remarkable, making us feel at home in this exotic paradise. The heart of the hotel, Kalyana Restaurant, managed by Ariani and her incredible team, became our culinary sanctuary. Each meal was a journey through the rich flavors of Bali, prepared with care and served with a smile. Their effort to cater to our every need, from food preferences to arranging surprise celebrations, was genuinely heartwarming. The delicious food and drinks they served were not just meals but a celebration of Balinese culture and hospitality. One of the most memorable experiences of our stay was the time spent with Made, our tour guide, who went above and beyond to make our trips around Ubud special. Made treated us not as guests but as friends, sharing with us the beauty of his homeland. The birthday celebration in Made’s garden was a highlight, complete with the sweet taste of mangosteens picked right from his trees. His attention to detail and deep knowledge of Ubud enriched our journey, making it more than just sightseeing. The villas at Tejaprana Bisma are a testament to the harmonious balance between nature and luxury.

Spain- For the price of the room, Normally this kind of hotels offer some yoga or other activities included, but they only have some charged ones (spa or cooking class) - we thought about taking the floating breakfast, but during the morning you’ll find lots of monkeys looking for food, so I don’t think is a good idea, you’ll ended up eating inside your room. - the restaurante is a little overpriced, the portions are small.
The rooms are amazing! The view from the infinity pool is beautiful. Super clean and well decorated. They really think about all the details. We went there for our honey moon, so they decorated the bed with flowers 🤍 The breakfast is delicious. They offer 2 different menus with lots of options. As normally people don’t stay for too many days, I would recommend to the hotel to use one menu each day instead of 3 days and 4 days, then you will be available to try both. - it’s at the end of a street full of restaurants, so you have lots of option to choose from. Also is far enough to not get the noise or the people. Not sure how it’s in high season - the stuff is super nice and is always willing to help - if you wanna realx for some days, this is your place 🤍

United KingdomAbsolutely nothing other than in my opinion an exorbitant amount required to keep the room for an additional 6 hour late checkout as our flight was not until the nighttime. However this did not attract from the excellent stay we had, but just a constructive criticism!

United Arab EmiratesOnly thing that was an issue was the private pool. The pool itself was nice and clean but there were like bees and there was a hand sized lizard in the garden but this is because Ubud is a forest so time to time it is expected. The hotel room was very clean though and no bugs so indoor is perfect. This is not the hotels fault but yeah I wouldn’t personally get the pool if you are scared of bees and insects and stuff…
Excellent hotel and the room was super good. Food was nice. The best part was the staff were super hospitable and welcoming and they always said hi and asked about your day when they see you. Every staff remember your name and always help you 24/7. One of the best service I’ve experienced.
