Absolutely stunning property and room. Clean, comfortable, and with direct beach access (though it involves quite a few steps). Loved the breakfast with its plenty of options – it looked great and was satisfying in both taste and quantity. The staff were a delight to be around. We felt welcomed from the start and communication was easy, both in person and through WhatsApp. I've never felt so genuinely valued as a customer and can confidently say this was our best stay in Bali. I would return in a heartbeat if given the chance.

Terra Cottages is so beautiful, the rooms, the restaurant and the pool area are all so pretty. Very comfortable rooms with good AC and nice bathroom. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the included breakfast was a very high standard with lots of choice. The location is perfect, down a very quiet street and so close to the amazing Bingin Beach. Loved everything about this place, especially the exceptionally friendly staff.

No robes or slippers, construction work outside and also communal toilet, although made aware of this on check in. Not enough tables in restaurant when busy for breakfast

This is the first time I am writing a review, but Terra Cottages just deserves it!!! This was our first time in Bali and we arrived very late. Nevertheless, we received a very warm welcome. The staff had even given us lots of recommendations in advance (Restaurants, beaches, beach Clubs, Cafés…). The hotel has such a great vibe, a cute pool and is about 100 steps away from Bingin Beach. The breakfast was awesome. There are 8 different dishes. We always had the overnight oats (the best we've ever had) and the avocado bread. Plus a juice or fruit of the day and a coffee drink. But what really needs to be emphasized are the exceptionally nice staff - all of them! No matter what, they always helped, gave tips and always responded to our needs. Really great staff. It was the best accommodation we could have imagined for the start of our trip. There is nothing that can be given as a suggestion for improvement. I can wholeheartedly recommend Terra cottage to anyone who is in Uluwatu. We will be back! Thank you!

Nothing to dislike!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Terra Cottages, The staff were so lovely & couldn’t do enough for us. I loved the decor and general vibe of the hotel. We had breakfast included in our stay and there was so many different food options! I recommend the banana pancakes with hazelnut spread, they were absolutely divine! The hotel also has direct access to bingin beach which is fab! But be prepared to walk down a few stairs haha! I would 100% recommend this property to anyone looking for Uluwatu accommodation and I would definitely return to this hotel.

Nothing everything was awesome

The staff is the best we’ve ever had, always kind and happy to help. They provide a lot of recommandations Restaurant is awesome with incredible breakfast. Room very confortable and have everything we need. You can rent scoter directly in the hotel. The pool area is very nice and peaceful. The hotel is located 3 mn from the beach I strongly recommend this place !!

There’s construction work being done which we unfortunately haven’t been aware of ahead of the stay and it haven’t been reflected in the price either. The staff kindly notified us about the work being done on 12:30-16:30 on one day but it kept going on the following day from 9 am. If we knew about this we would have chosen another accommodation.

The friendliness, kindness and helpfulness of the staff exceeded our expectations. We felt so at home and so welcome, that saying goodbye at the end of our stay was truly bittersweet. The staff (Chacha, Yuni, Jeff, Fina, and everyone else!) completely made this experience for us — and the atmosphere in the hotel was so fantastic because of this fantastic staff, they were beyond lovely, even by Balinese standards! Furthermore, the facilities were very comfortable, the food was fantastic and the location was great! The most heartfelt recommendations.

Honestly everything was perfect!

Terra Cottages was such a treat to stay in. The (free!) breakfast was excellent, the pool, grounds, and rooms were gorgeous, and the staff were incredibly gracious. We especially wanted to call out the service of July, one of the waitstaff at the restaurant, who was very fun and chatted with us while bringing us an endless supply of gin fizzes and bug repellant. The location is convenient to the beach with lots of cute shops, though a heads up that the walk is about 10-15 minutes of steep stairs. Also about 20 minutes walk from the main strip of bars/restaurants.

Not enough sunbeds on the pool but it is rare everyone to stay at the pool although it was very nice.

Absolutely outstanding hotel. If you are in Uluwatu do not hesitate to stay there. Staff was very helpful all the time, everything was very clean, food in the restaurant was delicious... And not last it is amazing for social media posts :) Rent a bike as we did from them and enjoy this beautiful place!

The pool could have been cleaner and I wasn't thrilled with the few items of food we had there. I would have liked more comfy outdoor furniture outside our room.

The location was excellent with a little pathway out the back to a sunset and ocean viewing spot. The little streets and pathways were lovely and felt safe and only got louder later in the evening. The rooms are clean and comfy. The staff were absolutely lovely and helpful. I was struck by the rite of passage Bali belly and they had a local remedy on hand to settle things down.

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like

The second time staying at Terra and I couldn’t fault it. The room was immaculate, the staff are always so friendly and attentive, the location perfect with its own private gate to access Bingin Beach, the food was delicious and the coffee was the best I’d had at a hotel in Bali.

Really nice place, the staff is amazing and the facilities were great. Everything is clean and the interiors have a nice feel. Bed is comfy, breakfast is a la carte, with lots of options, very tasty. Definitely would stay here again.

Staff here is absolutely wonderful. They communicate with you via WhatsApp starting the day before arrival to make sure you have all the information you need, including an exhaustive list of local recommendations for restaurants, spas, beach clubs. If I had a question about absolutely anything I simply texted them and they responded immediately, and one evening when I had to order food delivery because of a work meeting I had to join late, the front desk helped give directions to the driver when he got confused and went to the wrong place. Beyond the staff, everything was clean and quiet. There’s a bit of construction happening on the outdoor shower and bathrooms by the pool but staff would reach out to tell us when it would be noisy. The beach is right next to the hotel, albeit down many steep and uneven steps (coming back up in sandy flip flops was a little scary) but worth noting that most of the morning is still high tide, we went down early after breakfast and realized right away that it was better to sit at one of the restaurants and have some cocktails until it went down, but it was fun to watch all of the surfers! Lastly, very easy to order a car/bike to get anywhere if you’re not comfortable renting one of the bikes to drive yourself, a bike is heavily preferred to skip around traffic and get places quickly because the streets get congested in the part of town where a lot of the shops and restaurants are. If you do choose to use the bikes, make sure everyone in your party has the app to order their own as it is not allowed to have more than 1 passenger.

If you are looking for a beautiful Bali cottage, this is it! The fit out is very modern, Bali meets Morocco. Great for large groups. The staff are so lovely, rooms are amazing, food so fresh and delicious. Beach is a walk down the steps. Great cafes/restaurants within walking distance.
