Staying at Amala was perfect, it was like a dream. Staff were extremely nice, helping and friendly and they made us feel like at home. Spa offered various treatments, we were even able to have yoga and sound bowl therapy. Breakfast was delicious, there was a lot of possibilities to choose from (oats, pastries, eggs, fresh fruits, salads + fresh juices, coffee,...). We have had most of the meals in the resort during our stay. We also used room service for dinner and you can call reception anytime (24/7), they bring you water, ...

Very tranquil setting in Seminyak, 25 minute walk to the beach for sunset. Away from the more crowded and tourist spots, I felt instantly relaxed from the moment we checked in. The pool area was quiet and very relaxing. Breakfast was wonderful too. Thank you to Sona and all the staff for always having a smile on their faces and making us feel very welcome.

The mosquitoes were plentiful but got under control with the supplied insect spray

The 1 bedroom was excellent with pool and bluetooth speaker. The spa was great we had a few visits for massage and breakfast was nice and healthy. Staff are excellent and fixed issues quickly. The whole place transported you to a clean, beautifully maintained landscapes and gardens with balinese/stone architecture.

The bed was low and hard, which the staff tried to accommodate to. The cost to use the services of the car outside of the Seminyak area is far too expensive.

The staff were extremely pleasant and accommodating with every request. The rooms are well laid out with an amazing private pool. Apart from nit picking little things, the property was almost faultless.

Scenic location set in the heart of Seminyak. Yet very calm and quaint from the hustle bustle once you’re inside. Very close to the market, shops and restaurants. Extremely generous and genuinely sweet staff. Always lending a helping hand. Tending to all my kid’s needs. Beautiful clean property with great breakfast offering. Lovely spa to unwind and de-stress for the day. Ari particularly was wonderful. Happy with all the staff and their support throughout our stay!

The cotton swab shaft is made of wood, This is good.but sometimes it breaks easily inside the ear. It might be a little dangerous. However, I have no complaints about my stay.

The food is very delicious. And it's healthy. There is a variety of menus so you will never get bored. The staff are all friendly and very kind. The interior design is sophisticated and the water server is very convenient. The goods shop is also superior in design and quality compared to other hotels and shops. Special thanks to ninie and leona !

They charged us a bomb for airport drop and then booked us a grab taxi for quarter of the fees. I could have booked it myself if I wanted to use grab taxi.

Everything! The staff were incredible, they were so helpful and friendly and made my partners birthday very special. Starting from the airport pickup to checkout everything was wonderful. The spa therapists were wonderful, very friendly, skilled and communicative. We had the Balinese fruit ritual and then the massage included with our stay on separate days and they were both fantastic. The room was cleaned every day and the staff would light mosquito repellent coil and come and spray the room every night to minimised the mosquitos. The mini fridge was restocked daily with water, soda and cookies. Everything we ate there was delicious and they adapted dishes to be vegetarian for us. I'm still thinking about the pancakes! The location is great too.

We were given a different villa to what was booked due to availability. The Villa was beautiful but located closest to the road which made it very noisy at night. There were also a few repairs and maintenance issues with locks, handles and pool tiles however this did not significantly impact our stay.

The retreat is beautiful. Very tranquil and quiet with incredible polite and helpful staff. The location is only a short distance to the centre of Seminyak. The dining was also delicious and the small restaurant had a lovely secluded vibe. Our villa was large and had all the amenities required. The 24hr butler service was incredibly helpful. The hotel is very active in repelling mosquitoes which was a huge bonus for our stay. We would love to return on our next trip to Bali.

Mosquitos - more controls needed for mosquitos as currently prevents/limits time to enjoy the outdoor patio and pool area within the villa. Consider installing screening for patio area.

There was nothing l can complain about at all. A beautiful experience.

Loved the calm, peaceful ambience as you stepped into the resort. The Villa was private with a beautiful decor, food was amazing and l loved the treatments available. l was extremely impressed that we could not hear any noise yet we were so close to all of the shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Highly recommended. The shuttle service available by the staff was great with a drop of into the town centre or a short walk if you prefer, yoga was also a wonderful addition to the resort.
