A great place to stay the staff were absolutely brilliant. The accommodation is great but a little tired. Location is pretty central and if needed you can hop in a cab to Kuta etc., but there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely go back. We went for a pool villa which is ideal for cooling down in and it is needed.

The daily room cleans were inconsistent in timing. Sometimes we were out all day ready to hit the pool on our return only to have to allow staff in late arvo to attend to the room clean.

Great location close to some nice restaurants and cafes. The staff were exceptional and very attentive. They even accommodated us with a room change on Day 1 so we could get a pool under full sunlight. The daily breakfast was a special surprise and well exceeded my expectations. Try the power green smoothie bowl, very nice. The facilities were well maintained and very comfortable post pandemic. Thoroughly recommend this place.

Bathroom and toilets are run down with broken tiles and stained toilet bowls. Overall villa is run down and looks shabby.

We spent our honeymoon there and it was great. The attention to detail was so nice.The staff was really really friendly. Appreciated the turn down service a lot too. Really liked that the drinks in the fridge are topped up everyday too.

One of the best hotels in the whole Bali. The village is so nice with all kind of details: gym, private swimming pool/jacuzzi, bath, shower, toilet inside the room. The bed is so so comfy and the room is huge with fan, fridge, air conditioner, insect screen and many more things. It is extremely well equipped. Truly 5 starts villa. Staff is so friendly and attentive. They serve you the breaksfast from 7am to 10am. There are a nice variety of food and it tastes delicious. Please give an oppurtunity to this place because you wont regret at all. One of the best hotel I ever stayed in my life. Manuel

The room is large but does show some wear. Bathroom is semi outdoors so it gets quite hot during the day. I asked for a portable fan for the bathroom but the resort does not have one. Due to the semi open lay out, mosquitoes can be an issue but the staff does a daily spray of the room along with lighting of mosquito coil with their daily turn down routine and this keeps the mosquitoes at bay.

Amazing wellness retreat. The surroundings are tranquil and the staff are always obliging. Our private pool is in pristine condition. Breakfast is tasty with plenty of choices. We particularly love the yoga studio, where we get to practise yoga daily (no one else seems to use it during our stay!)

Expect some insects especially outside the room but the room has enough insecticides and repellents :)

The staff is very attentive and friendly. Especial shout out to INTAN who helped me arrange for various things for a birthday surprise! The price is value for money. Food is good. The spa staff is experienced/ well trained! There are several good restaurants and a local market nearby :)

There was some construction happening in other villas when we there but it wasn't too much of a bother.

Great value and felt like we were VIPs with great quality service. We stayed in a private pool villa and the room was amazing. Loved the extra touch of a turn down service every evening. A great selection was provided for breakfast every day. During our stay, we were robbed (not at the Amala) and the staff were very helpful with taking us to the police station to file a report. We felt very comfortable and are looking forward to returning in the future.

Our flight was delayed and we arrived 3 AM. The night manager was waiting with a smile and offered fresh cold water with fruit and processed our reservation quickly, had sandwiches ready if we needed a snack, and quickly settled us into our room.
