The beds were very hard, we asked for a mattress topper but i think just they placed an extra doona on but it was still very hard.

We stayed at the palace in a garden room. no view just overlooking trees. The room was huge. Definitly worth getting the all inclusive deal, anything from the menu and also the beverage menu. Make sure you ask for the al a carte menu for breakfast as the sunrise acai bowl and eggs benedict were fantasic, also 4 pieces of laundry are included per day, which they dont tell you. we didnt find out til 1/2 way through our stay. would definitely recommend a stay here. Also not far from the shops if you want to change money or have a massage etc. We rode the bikes there in 5/10 minutes.

Part of the external roof and tiles collapsed from the 5th floor while we were there. Lucky no one was hurt.

After years of closure due to Covid there is some maintenance still to be completed. The hotel just reopened a couple if months ago. However when we discussed our concerns the manager solved the issues and went above and beyond to improve our stay.

As we got married at the Ayodya in 2017 we were looking forward to revisit these great memories now with our 2 year old daughter. After some maintenance issues the staff really went above and beyond to improve our stay. The daily breakfast, afternoon tea and cocktail were extensive and of good quality. The grounds, gardens and pools are still beautiful and well maintained. My daughter loved the kids club, the swimming toys and the court yard pools with the fish. The staff was lovely and accommodating to our daughter. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated.

Spa is not fully up and running yet so did not provide pedicures or manicures. Also the palace part of the resort is supposed to be for adults and older children, we had quite a few really young children which is not what we wanted for our holiday this time, it took away the peace and quiet we went there for, especially in the smaller dinning area.

Location on the beach, and older style Balinese buildings made you feel like you are definitely in Bali rather than a modern style hotel which could be anywhere in the world. All the staff were so friendly, we stayed in the Palace which was amazing and the restaurant staff there really know how to look after you especially Niri. The place is huge, lovely grounds and lake the pools are fantastic and plenty of sunbeds and places to eat. Genji Japanese restaurant is excellent and great value for money. The spa is also amazing we really enjoyed our stay.

The staff are lovely and very friendly. Have stayed twice this year and will definately be staying again. Lovely private pool for Palace guests and 2 great pools in the resort - one beach front pool and one in the middle of the resort for all guests to use. Nice breakfast in Palace dining room , have afternoon tea and canapes and drinks in the evening. Rooms are large with great balconies and comfy beds , large bathrooms with bath & shower.

the property was under renovation and we only had accès to less than 50% of the hotel (no spa access no gym only one lounge used as restaurant) - the lift was down a whole day when we arrived and we were on the 4th floor. we were extremely disappointed that no one mentioned that when booked and even after our booking to give us an option to choose another hotel. the staff seemed untrained and overwhelmed - so service was poor although we can see that they were doing their best

the suites we booked were comfortable, clean, cosy and nicely furnished. The beach was clean and just outside the hotel.

Staff are not much helpful, if you don’t give the tip. Its 5 star hotel but facilities listed on the website are not available. What i felt like Hotel management if just pushing the days. There are not interested in hotel business.
