I stayed here for around a month. Perfect for me as it is really in the center of Bukit. Close to everywhere by motorbike and also quiet in the little street. The room is clean but not the biggest in Bali for sure. But you will spend very little time in it since the yard is just perfect for hang out. No mosquitos and with the breeze, I had so many good moments there with the sunshine. Full kitchen and free coffee is definitely a plus. And all staffs are helpful and willing to help you with your questions. In short, not a villa with swimming pool but a nice little home with lots of greens.

The scooters we rented are a bit worn out, not a big deal but subpar compared to what we've rented in Bali

The property itself is really beautiful, lots of green and plants. The common areas are fantastic, everything needed to relax, chill and have a great coffee. The room was very clean, comfortable, great bed and shower. Staff was very kind and super helpful at all times. A great place in a great location in Uluwatu, you can go west, south, east very easily. Also easy access to Legian if you need to by motorcycle. Also, the dog is super cute :)

Very quiet place in this town, even though it is close to the main road. The place has it's own big yard, with terrace and chairs for relaxing, hammock, kitchen area for cooking, free coffee, water, etc. Rooms are simple but clean. Bed was really comfortable and especially the pillows! Thank you for the good pillows. AC, fridge and sink in the room, also your own bathroom. And Opi the dog keeping friendly company! Wifi worked fine, then it got disconnected because of broken cable, but got fixed right in the morning!

Nothing, it was perfect

The territory is amazing, it is green, a lot of shadow and trees and lots of comphy chairs to chill in. There is kitchen and everything you need. It is lovely just to be there. All the staff is very friendly and helpful and the room was always clean. Rooms are air conditioned, but somehow it is not hot even without air conditioner. Thank you very much for the stay, if I come back to Bali, I will defenitely stay with you again ❤️

Honestly everything’s great, only thing if you don’t drive a scooter might be a little far out

The staff are INCREDIBLE, the rooms, the garden, everything is so peaceful. The kitchen and communal areas always clean, the rooms are homely. The laundry is reasonably priced and was able to rent a scooter through the staff. The staff were always happy, always so ready to chat and help. I loved staying. My fave place in Uluwatu.

Everything was perfect.

This place exceeded my expectations. You can find everything you need in the facility. The kitchen is very well equipped, the rooms have comfortable beds, access to drinking water, and a comfortable place to rest outside. The atmosphere at Bali Boarding House is very soothing and friendly. I will return there at the next opportunity. The location is great, very close to restaurants and the main street, yet tucked away in a quiet place.

Desi, the host, and her staff are so helpful and hospitable. I really enjoyed getting to know her. On top of that, I love how homey the place is. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with all the supplies you need to feel at home. In front of the rooms there's a garden with hammocks and a little pagoda to relax. The room is clean and comfy. I would loved to have stayed there longer!

The room was quite small. There was no comfortable workspace. There was no chair in the room and the desk was very narrow to put a laptop, also no wardrobe. I'd like to stay longer but I can't, I don't have a normal desk- because I sit and draw a lot. WC combined with shower.

Very cosy and beautiful green place. Super clean! Good to stay for a few days. Very kind hostess. There are several chillout areas on the territory: Swing Chairs. Tables. Espresso machine for guests to use. Good clean shared kitchen. Memory foam pillows. About 18 minutes by bike to nyang nyang beach on a good road. There is a cafe next to the guesthouse where you can have breakfast.

This accommodation is simply perfect. Of all the accommodations in Bali, this one was the best. I even extended my stay twice because I felt so comfortable. The accommodation is well located, the owner Daisy and her staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The price-performance-ratio is unbeatable and the place is a feel-good oasis. I can only recommend it to anyone and will definitely be back.

Where shall I start…. A truly special place. If I would stay for longterm in Bali/Uluwatu, this is the place I would choose! The area of the homestay is perfect, it is quiet but all the stuff to do in Uluwatu is easily reachable by scooter. The room is perfect, comfy bed, fridge, all is clean, nice bathroom. The garden and the outdoor kitchen are an absolute highlight! Everything is made so lovely and the staff takes care of the homestay so well. Also the staff is so lovely, helping and make you feel at home! I can just say: Thank you thank you thank you! You made our last days of our journey perfect. If I come back to Uluwatu one day, I will definitely know where I will stay ♥️

This is an amazing place. The energy there is so calming, welcoming and soothing. If you have any worries, you can be sure they will go away. Absolutely loved it there. And the manager Desi is the warmest and kindest person ever. If you are traveling by, make sure you stay here at least 3 night to soak in the magic. Highly recommend. And don't forget to grab a coconut from the fridge. They are delicious.

Best hostel in Bali ! I had the pleasure of staying at the BaliBoarding House and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that made me feel instantly at home. The standout feature of this accommodation is undoubtedly the exceptional care provided by its employees, particularly the manager, Desi. Desi’s attention to detail and genuine concern for the well-being of guests truly sets this place apart. The location of the BaliBoarding House is another highlight. Nestled in a tranquil area, it offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle, yet remains conveniently close to the vibrant parts of the Bukit with its array of restaurants and shops. What’s more, all the beautiful beaches and surf spots are just a short scooter ride away, making it the perfect base for all surf spots and exploring the area. This place is still great to say the least a step up! I was very surprised that they are able to maintain the excellent condition of this accommodation. And that in the whole set. The kitchen is still beautifully equipped and the rooms are perfectly clean like here in Europe. I was very surprised by the service of the staff who take care of me as if I were their family. I really appreciate the apartment here and I will always be very happy to come back here during my trip to Bali. A big thank you to everyone for their concern for my comfort.

The room is a little bit dark and too small for two people. The bathroom is toilet and shower in one.

The drain in the bathroom smelled really bad once in a while and worse than any other places I’ve been around Southeast Asia

Disy is an impeccable host. She makes herself available. She was even so generous in helping me disinfect my wounds. Also, she helped me find a taxi to the airport in the middle of the night! Of all the destinations I went to during the month in Indonesia, this is my favorite place and meeting!
