This is such a small thing in the grand scheme of a fabulous hotel No drawers or cupboards just hanging space.

Room. Bed and pillows were perfect bathroom spacious. Great shower head. Love the big shampoo body wash no plastic container wastage TV. Best setup. Netflix and videos on demand. Great for us as we stayed over Nyepi day Breakfast buffet. Lots of options fruit cereal salad pastries egg station. 6 Indo options on the buffet Pool is perfect great sun lounges. This is a quiet hotel which we love. So close to the beach, lots of food and massage options By far the greatest asset of this hotel is the staff. All very happy friendly.

The tv didn’t work, no towels, the fridge wasn’t plugged in, the sheets were dirty. The breakfast selection has got extremely stale and boring. The rooms have just got very run down. I will not be rebooking to return. I’ve spent many holidays here and this makes me sad to say goodbye to such a great hotel but the new managers are not very good !

Reception staff that was the only good point , after visiting for more than ten years this will be my last, very disappointed.

This my third trip to Bali and in my three times I had stay only at THE BENE but unfortunately I didn’t enjoy or liked this time the hotel due to below issues : As soon as I arrived from airport during check in process the staff didn’t welcomed me with a Hot Towel / Welcome Drink even there was two guests before me and they was provided with the welcome towel. Then I had a way lot of issues in room as: 1-AC not working properly / makes loud noise at night / sometimes I woke up due to AC noise and feeling sweat / complaint several times not solved yet. 2- shower hot tab water not working / heater not working unless I have to call reception to open the hot tab water from there end. 3- All linen and bed sheets bath Towels and pool towels as well are stained with different marks and colours and looks over used this is from first day of my stay till the last day of my stay 9 nights. 4 - some reception desk staff rude / not professional and showing attitude to me and not even apologized and not willing to help

Perfect location! Loved the pool room access, that is a definite must. Also, enjoyed the breakfast...especially compared to other places we stayed. Loved it so much, I booked my parents for next year and that is where we will be staying ourselves next time. Highly recommend.

Not their fault, but the temple next door made a lot of noise until late at night, but I think it was a particular festival. Honestly, it was fine and I would still love to stay there again.

Very clean, very spacious, very nice rooms and the customer service was excellent. I will stay again if I come back to ubud.

The cleaning of hotel standard has dropped , Shower blocking , No room service after 10pm Kids being allowed to run around after 11pm

I always stayed here many times before Covid hit , it was amazing , clean and friendly staff, now it’s under new management and it’s lost its charm, the rooms need a good clean and service , they have removed all the extras in the room such as menus and chips etc , no room service after 10, the pool was poorly kept this time and only two of the remaining staff on (they will be the only reason I would stay again! ) the two staff who knew is went above and beyond . The new management need to really make the effort to clean up and restore the good quality’s the hotel had, Location is still great.

The staff were very unwilling to accommodate simple requests. Towels and bedsheets were both dirty. Definitely not a 4-star experience. Not a great experience if hygiene is a priority.

We were put in two rooms with a connecting door which suited our family, however the couple of small windows which provided natural light had frosted over. One of the rooms, the air conditioning controller was broken which made it difficult to turn off (as it was very loud), to do this we had to remove the room key from the wall which meant we couldn’t use the lights.

The pool and location were fantastic.

The breakfast is average, service takes long, our room bathroom drains were blocked (room #418) which wasn’t fixed inspite of informing the reception staff
