How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Not so clean, maybe a renovation would good. You have to wait for warm water around 5 minutes.
Close to the airport, around 15 minutes walk, dont need taxi or grab/gojek/uber. Pool, bar, breakfast from menu. For one or two nights are recommended.

We stayed for the day to be closer to the airport for a late flight out. Used the pool, rested, showered and had dinner. Would like to stay longer next time.

It’s a very good stay for its price. Facilities are older, so if old looking paint and things like that bother you this isn’t a good stay. Ask for air fresher if room smells bit musty.
It an older property but you have plenty of space in Pavilion room and I’ve never seen the pool be busy. Doesn’t seem to attract children. Staff are helpful. Very close to airport.

Drains need clearing. Slow to empty bath and sink. Grab drivers find it hard to locate.
Clean comfortable room. Bathtub. Quiet at night. Good cheap food.

Toilet backed-up and the initial repair attempt failed. This made my first 2 days stay uncomfortable. It improved when I was moved to a different room. Many staff struggle to speak English.
The room I booked included a lounge area, which made it very spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately, the toilet plumbing backed-up. The first "repair" failed to identify the plumbing fault, which meant the blockage occurred again. Eventually, I was moved to another similar room where everything was functional. Breakfast was good. The pool adequate for morning exercise. Staff were friendly but their lack of English language made communication a struggle.

I didn't feel welcome when I arrived. I'm not sure if that was because I couldn't speak a word of Indonesian. I think this feeling was before I spoke. I didn't feel like any of the staff were friendly. I did find one interaction friendly when I was leaving which would have been a better experience if it was every interaction.
I liked that this hotel was located amongst the local area rather than particularly touristy. The hotel was clean and tidy and the food was good. I wasn't sure about going in the pool when I first stayed as it didn't seem to be clean to me however, I'm not sure if I was seeing it clearly. I enjoyed swimming in the pool on my second stay.

Electricity went out for around three hours early to mid afternoon so no aircon was difficult. Chicken sate from restaurant was tough and overcooked. Bedside table would be beneficial.
Pool was great. Room was big enough. Bonus having a balcony. Fantastic value for money.

Rooms are quite rundown but comfortable, cheap and close to the airport which was all we were after. Take extra water. Only 2 small bottles are supplied. Not enough for coffee and brushing teeth.
Staff were great and kept their professionalism even after dealing with an entitled patron that thought he could leave his suite at his leisure and the checkout time didn't apply to him and that he didn't know he wasn't allowed to smoke in his room. Well done I'm sorry I didn't get your name check in guy 💐

Internet connection was a bit slow. Nothing to complain about.

When I asked the staff about helping me arrange transportation, the price was very high. I was able to use grab for half the cost. It was a little more plain than the way the pictures made it seem.
Walking distance from the airport. It was about a 15 minute walk from the airport. The beds were comfortable and the check-in process was easy.
