How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Some areas need some attention, such as missing tiles in pool, stains on bedding and towels. This is the only reason for down marking by 1 point. We would definitely return here and will be recommending to others.
The staff were amazing and couldn't do any more for you. We really enjoyed being in a quiet location for a few days. Having a private pool was great and the flexibility to have all meals in your villa was a bonus. Food was fantastic and drinks were very well priced. The staff have thought about everything providing all essential toiletries and giving access to Netflix. It was easy to get a grab bike and car from the hotel, so location wasn't a problem for us. You cannot walk places as there are no paths, but it was super cheap to jump on the back of a Grab bike.

1. How the pool looked (different from picture) 2. The room itself has too much opening making it difficult to seal off against mosquitoes.

This is truly a five star resort. The villas provided are excellent. I had my own lovely pool big enough to do laps with stairs so I could climb out without killing myself. The manager is a thoughtful and dedicated man putting his guests first ( as are all the staff ). Breakfast is from a menu in the restaurant. There is plenty to choose from and the food both at breakfast and dinner is delicious. I ate there most days. If you need to shop or sightsee, they will see to your needs no questions asked as shops etc are a bit of a walk. Didn't bother me though. TV with plenty of English channels and Netflix kept me entertained at night. Lovely staff -- well trained and very thorough. Everyone should give this resort a try. Highly recommend this lovely resort.

the mosquitoes as my son got bitten but also understandable due to the location. the pool didn’t look very clean. Not sure if it gets clean daily as part of house keeping. My son also reacted to the pool water getting rashes on his body. the floating breakfast was a nice touch for my husband birthday and the petals on the bed.
nice quite away from the hustle and bustle of Canggu.

Such a Beautiful Villa. The beds were very comfortable. The location for me with family to visit in Canggu was perfect. Great restaurants all around us, I will stay there again for sure.

Was a little isolated very difficult to walk anywhere as such skinny roads not meant for pedestrians. Had to get a scooter. Not hotels fault obviously but just be warned.
Really lovely villas with private pool. Nice and clean and good air conditioning. Super comfy beds. Staff incredibly helpful and lovely breakfast.

It became a bit of a hassle getting places (about 20 minutes by car to get to the hot spots). But it’s not an issue if you plan to stay in and enjoy your villa.
The villas were beautiful, and it was so quiet. But that did mean that we were a little far off from the centre.

The electricity in the room stopped working and they had to move us to a different villa. The water machine wasn’t working in the new villa (this was then quickly replaced by the staff when I raised it). Both of these issues were dealt with quickly and efficiently by the staff and certainly did not spoil our stay.
Service was excellent from all of the staff. The grounds are peaceful and quiet and we loved the privacy of the villa.

Our pool water level was a little low. And there was a drone flying overhead while we were sun baking by the pool.
Beautiful room with a great outdoor area. Staff were more than helpful and even allowed us to use a room to shower and prepare for a late night flight on checkout day.

The only thing that we didn’t like was the mosquitos almost killed us.
We booked a pool villa with breakfast. The room was enormous and very romantic. It had a lovely seating area outside, a pool and the room and bathroom. We loved the space.

The tiles throughout the villa and around the pool were dirty and slippery. It was very dangerous for our toddlers. We also tried to organise massages over the 4 days that we were there and every time we spoke to the staff there was never any massage therapists available.
We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa. The bedrooms were very spacious with high ceilings and a spa bath in each bedroom. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. The villa was very beautiful and the room service and restaurant was convenient.

Nothing, the place is amazing
This is a beautiful boutique hotel with excellent attention to detail and amazing service! Is outside the saturated Canggu centre so it’s absolutely peaceful. All rooms are beautifully curated, staying the in private villa with pool is the e best experience!

As canggu roads and traffic are not efficient. It’s easier to catch mopeds over cars as taxis will be delayed because of one way roads and cars need to go the long route. Generally the toilets don’t flush that well but the staff were supportive and helpful 24/7. Next time I return I’m staying at Adepa and I’m going to get my own moped.
The property was clean tidy and affordable. Very similar to the pictures advertised. Loved the helpful staff too. Perfection and a reasonable price.
