I loved staying at The Palms! The rooms are very nice and spacious and the overall accommodation is great. Location is very good and close to a lot of shops and restaurants/cafes but at the same time it’s not in the main road. The staff was lovely and very helpful as I was ill and they provided recommendations. We didn’t get to use the pool but it looked great

By the far the best hotel I've stayed in in Canggu. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are immaculate and super comfy beds. The pool area is beautiful - the perfect way to relax

Due to the location, most trips away from the hotel should be made by taxi or scooter, which is fine considering they are cheap.

It was a great overall experience, with very kind and helpful staff and a great pool to hang out at. 24/7 reception is excellent, just in case.

Beautiful location, incredibly helpful and friendly staff, close to lots of fun activities and felt like home for the time we stayed. Staff helped us check in after arriving very late off our flight, and helped us organise late check out as well- even letting us stick around in the outdoor lounge area after check out because of our late flights. We will definitely be returning to stay again :) (also the pool table was the best addition to our trip when we didn’t feel like leaving the villa)

The Hotel does not offer breakfast (which is not that bad as there are sooooo many options around). But sometimes it would have been nice if you could order some fries or something for when you relax at the pool. Also we experienced the prices to be quite high as you could get a similar room for way less, so that is why we changed accommodations after 4 nights.

We really like to pool area and hang there a lot. Also the hotel provides you with fresh water infused with mint and lemon each day in your fridge - that is amazing! The first room we did not really like that much as the bathroom was outside of the room and very dirty. But we could change for the remaining nights and that was way better (we stayed in room 1).

This was definitely the most modern of properties we have stayed in on our trip. The pool facilities and loungers were perfect. The room was so clean. They also have a very handy laundry service returned to you on the same day. It is off the main road down a quiet road so it’s perfect

The only minor issue was that we were not able to attach our shower filter to the shower head, which was also scaling, but it did not affect us. Sometimes it can get a bit loud at night with the animals around, but that is not an issue of the hotel and we’ve realised it is a fairly common issue around Bali in general! Overall a great stay :)

The Palms is a beautiful place, the staff were so friendly and helpful. We were offered complimentary coconut water upon arrival (perfect after a day travelling), and the water jugs in the rooms were filled daily. The rooms were nice and clean, comfortable and spacious, perfect for a short stay! Wish we could have stayed there a little longer to enjoy the pool area! Overall a lovely experience

I'd personally avoid the fake grass that runs all over the property. It makes no sense in such a naturalistic place with plenty of real greenery all over. But this is just my personal stylistic preference, nothing that could be really blamed LOL

Lovely time! The property is really nice, built like a unique villa then divided in individual rooms, some of which are traditional wooden Indonesian houses. Common areas are very well designed and user-friendly, with a pool at the center, lots of green spots + a kitchen that can be used by guests. Staff is very nice and attentive. No meals are served, but there's always a bar open to buy the necessary things. Location is good, at walking distance from nice bars and restaurants. The villa itself is located in a small remote street though (not the best, but still very safe).

Only thing that would have made it complete would have been breakfast included. Save on getting up and heading out every day. Sometimes a coffee around the pool would have been nice.

The staff was friendly and the manager was really helpful for me. It’s location is really central for Canggu and it’s a good place to chill after a busy day. I will definitely stay here again next time.

Only reason I'm giving a 9 rather than a 10: Staff members would oftentimes smoke at the reception area which is adjacent to the pool. As someone who is very health conscious, this was a huge turn off when I'm trying to swim in the pool or enjoy some relaxation and I'm smelling tobacco. I can't control if other guests do it, but the staff members should step outside the gate to smoke (or just stop smoking in general, as it's not good for your health nor wallet).

Staff were very nice. They accommodated our request for a late check out. Service was solid. Facilities were nice. Liked the pool and the room. Importantly, as the villa is 100m off the main street, it is extremely quiet, which is important to me. I would be fine to stay here again as it was quite comfortable. Good food options locally that were within walking distance.
