The private pool was mostly shady throughout the day.

The accommodation is like an oasis off a fairly busy road, you can’t hear the traffic noise within the complex. The pool area is relaxing and the staff are very helpful and friendly. We stayed in a 1 bed villa with pool and it was beautiful.

A few minor maintenance issues but it’s an older property and a harsh climate.

The honeymoon villa is very special and feels like a home from home. Sitting in the living room watching the pouring rain was magical. The private pool is delightful. Food was great and lovely to eat in the spacious villa. Unlike a few other reviews we found the quality and quantity of breakfast and dinner to be very good. All the staff were exceptionally good, discrete and caring.

Only slight downside was that the usual path to the beach was blocked and I am not sure if will be reopened as building work going on.

There are a few minor things: there are some dust residues on top of the baldaquin which were not cleaned, alongside some spider webs in the corner of the rooms. Also, the bathtub was quite dirty at the edge (where it connects to the external holder) --moreover, this should be insulated with some caulk/silicone or similar. Also, the shower head nozzle should be better cleaned against residue/minerals (maybe with some vinegar). Since it was the first time for us in a tropical setting, we were surprised by the small geko that can get inside the room (but they are everywhere on the island). They are completely harmless, make only small noises throughout the night and you get used to them after the first night :). The internet was not the best. Outside the rooms we had good signal and fast speed, but inside the room there was no signal for connection. A repeater would be a great addition, or a per-residence router even better.

We loved the secluded rooms - ideal for couples/family. Privacy is very highly regarded there. It was far from the main street and very quiet! Great breakfast with plenty of choices, served outside! I liked that a web-based app is used to select the items the day before. Daily clean up of the property, rooms and pool. Extremely polite, attentive and helpful hosts -- a complete shock for two couples of Europeans. The air-conditioning was a must have and worked really well (almost all day long). Plenty of good restaurants, pubs, bars around! Definitely check the night market in Sanur! The absolute best was the spa service! A definite MUST in our opinion (we took the couple promo one).

Absolutely nothing!

A tropical and serene oasis tucked away in the main street of Sanur! Cleanliness and staff are 10/10. The villa was so spacious and well appointed with a divine outdoor shower which we used the whole time. Air conditioning worked perfectly and fresh filtered water tank in kitchen was a bonus. Do yourself a favour and stay at The Pavilions, we cannot fault a thing!

Accommodation a little expensive but you really get what you paid for.

Absolutely beautiful gardens and large rooms. The children loved the ponds with fish. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved the special dinner and traditional dance.

Breakfast was okay in terms of choice but the quality could have been better. We chose to eat at the restaurant rather than take the breakfast in the room but whichever approach you take the options are the same. Not a fan of ordering the night before but not a major issue.

We chose to take the private pool option and that was really great. Room very comfortable and staff warm throughout. Location about 15 minutes walk from the beach which was nice to walk alongside. Plenty of local restaurants within a short walk.

We had a lovely time in a one bedroom villa with a pool. The resort is great, a very quiet place immersed in nature but with easy access to shops and restaurants. Staff were fantastic, everybody was very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable, and we were very well looked after. Breakfast is served at the villa and you can also order food and drinks during the day/evening using their online app. Travelling with a 7 month old baby, we truly enjoyed being able to have dinner in the villa, although also the restaurant is really nice. Food was delicious. The resort also has a main pool and a spa - highly recommended. Thank you to the staff for making our stay so special!

The Beds.. with all the comforts that they provide, I really wish we had a king size mattress on the bed instead of two single mattresses joined together.. makes a gap/ hump in the middle that I personally don’t like much.

Loved the personalized villa names.. Was a lovely little surprise. Great, comfortable villas and wonderful staff. The spa treatments are amazing!
