Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Lithuania-
Wonderful resort in private island. I really enjoyed time here in Beach front villa, it has everything you need (including mosquito repellent). On my stay I didn't see any mosquito. There are plenty activities : SUP, kayaks, snorkelling, hammocks on the sea. There is an opportunity to visit fishermans village too. Amazing reef in front of the hotel. Tasty food in the restaurant, wide selection of food options. Exceptional hospitality, friendly staff. Special thanks to hotel manager from Bali for hospitality , and to Albert for organizing nice kayak trip to another island.

The staff of the resort is exceptional simply, the beach and the reef at few meters from your bed, many rare species if you take time to explore and if lucky as we were, you’ll be visited by dolphins.last but not least… the food is amazing, ask for fish of the day.

ItalyRooms are nice with open air bathrooms, but sheets had stains, although it was clear they were cleaned. Not exactly what you expect when you pay 230 euros (in Indonesia!)
The place is top for one main reason: the reef you have just in front of the hotel. The quality of the snorkeling is just insane. Bring with you a long levees scuba shirt because its full of small and picky jellyfish, particular some times of the day. Nothing major, just annoying. People at the restaurant and providing service are very nice. Good quality restaurant. Bungalows are big with comfy beds and open air bathroom.

LithuaniaIt is amazing place! perfect food in restaurant, very romantic atmosphere in hotel. The most important is stuff. We stayed only two nights, but it was enough to start feel like living in big family. Stuff was waiting for us coming by boat on a hotel pier and waved us - I will never forget this! It was very sensitive and covered with feeling of security, friendship :)

United KingdomThe outdoor bathroom is beautiful but being outdoors you may get occasional night-time visits from a local long-tailed friend... and there are mosquitoes, but that's what you get when you stay in a tropical paradise. The bedrooms are very comfortable and secure and the staff do their best to keep unwelcome visitors at bay. When I arrived, I was a bit confused about how to book excursions - perhaps an information folder in the rooms would be helpful? There is a price list for private boat hire at Reception but a private boat for the day is very expensive unless you are a group. However when I asked, a very friendly staff member rang a neighbouring resort, the only other one on the island, and found me a place on a day tour that went to Padar Island, Pink Beach, Komodo National Park and Manta Point. They also arranged for me to pre-book an early breakfast in order to make it to the boat. Don't miss out on this amazing day whatever you do, it's worth every penny.
This is one of the most stunning locations I have ever stayed in - a private island in the Flores Sea, with a coral reef and snorkelling from the pier, incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful staff and a beautiful bamboo bungalow all to myself. Definitely book one of the beach bungalows if you can - being able to walk out onto the sand each morning was amazing. The bamboo restaurant with views is spectacular and I can particularly recommend the soto ayam (chicken noodle soup) and the chilli margarita. The resort only has 16 rooms and falls quiet from 9pm - it's worth going to bed then and rising in time to see dawn break. Snorkelling equipment, kayaks and paddle boards are all provided and staff are on hand to help and advise you at all times. I was travelling alone and everyone looked after me very well, I felt very comfortable and at home.

IndonesiaWe stayed for 5 days and we found that the food offer was a bit limited, especially becase there's no other place where to eat apart from the restaurant. There's a small village on the island, but there's nothing there. Additionally, we took an excursion, which included visiting a cave and going snorkeling to a close by island, however, we found the price for the boat alone a bit high.
The whole experience was great! The boat ride from Labuan Bajo was super smooth and the staff is super nice! The island is amazing and there is so much coral to explore. They also have nice snorkeling gear that is available at all times. The restaurant is very nice, the rooms are cozy and there a lots of areas where you can chill.

FranceEverything was perfect.
A special place on a beautiful private beach. I loved my bamboo bungalow with an outside bathroom and the view of the ocean. Also loved freshly prepared food in a bamboo manta ray-shaped restaurant whose architecture and design amazed me. Everything, including the chairs and the plant containers are made of bamboo. Lots of activities to do like kayaking, snorkling, Komodo trips or just relaxing on the beach and listening to the waves. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful and all made sure my stay goes wonderfully well. A special thanks to Alex, my Komodo trip guide, who was kind, competent and professional and made sure that my group's trip to the Komodo National Park be special and unforgettable.

It is an awesome place. So quiet, perfect service. A decent amount of different foods (also vegetarian). It is just the perfect place to slow down. You can get a SUP or Kayak for free and go to the other island and snorkel there. I loved every minute.

GermanyOnly some of the bungalows are really in the first row with a perfect view of the beach. We also booked a bungalow with sea view, but ours was in the second row what was a bit of downside for us. The beach directly at the resort is not really suitable for swimming due to the algae and the coral reef. Therefore it is best to visit the adjacent islands.
The coral reef right in front of the resort was amazing for snorkeling. Thousands of colorful fish and we also saw turtles and baby sharks. Snorkeling equipment, SUPs and canoes were available for free. We can really recommend to take the canoe to the adjacent tiny island with a beautiful beach. Therefore it is important to have a look on the tides, since the water level varies during the day. We also enjoyed the food and in our eyes the prices were reasonable, only a little more expensive than in Labuan Bajo. The staff was also very very kind and helpful. The resort offers many different and beautiful spots to relax.

United KingdomCold shower only On a way back we were taken back on a very old fisherman boat that was super loud and smelt of petrol all the way. There were spectacular views but completely destroyed by old boat that was below any acceptable standards (especially noise). When you book your stay make sure you DEMAND them to take you on more modern boat (we were taken on that boat once and it is much faster and most importantly quieter) just refuse to board old board (you should be taken on speed boat)
Beautifully located on a peaceful island. Staff was very friendly and food was tasty. Swimming pool is amazing. Possibility to use kayak - we have spotted big turtle. Beautiful sunsets. Good facilities, very nice restaurant with amazing views. Looks and is better than in the pictures. It’s a little paradise especially if you are looking for a quiet place for couples or families. Feels very private. Highly recommended.

United StatesWe liked everything here.
We loved this beautiful boutique hotel on a tiny island built over a tropical reef. We stayed in a bamboo cottage on the beach with an outdoor bathroom from your dreams. They picked us up by boat from the mainland and we were away from the touristy town. Everything was well kept and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The restaurant was delicious and they even made us a boxed lunch to take on our one day national park tour. The hotel took us out on their private speed boat with a captain, mate and guide for a full day adventure including meeting Komodo dragons, swimming on a pink beach, hiking up to the top of Padar island and the best snorkeling we have ever witnessed. Best day of a two week trip. I wish we had stayed a few more days.

Singaporewhat’s not to like? 😁
We stayed 2 nights in Seraya early June 2023. Booked the Seaview Canopy room. It was 2 Adults and 1 Teen. 😁 We were completely blown away by the resort when we arrived. It was tranquil, idyllic and peaceful. Room was spacious, and most importantly CLEAN! Restroom was very clean, and being partially open air, you’d catch a number of colourful butterflies, moths even and the occasional gecko! Bed was super comfy, and housekeeping did a great job with the linen and we literally “faxed” ourselves into the duvae. 😆 There was NO muskiness from the pillows or extra bed. Air conditioning works really well and it kept us all cool during the night and day. Big thanks to Eddie, Taufik, Adrian and Gonzo for their fabulous service, knowledge of information, and dedication to giving their best to us. We had an out-of-world experience with Taufik when he brought us to Hatamin Island. He was outgoing, friendly and super accommodating. He brought us to where the baby sharks would hang out and we managed to see quite a few! It was simply amazing! Best moment of our trip in Seraya! Shout out to Gonzo as well for helping us with our transfer back to mainland and airport. Food variety was limited but oh-so-DELICIOUS! The fish was wonderfully fresh and cooked well! Wish we had more time to enjoy the food and water sports. The pool was salt water - non chlorinated. It’s an eco-friendly resort and takes you back in tune with nature. Don’t expect Wifi in rooms or any electronic gadgets, except for hair dryer. 😁👍🏼 Overall it was an amazing stay.. Thank you to all in Seraya especially Eddie and crew for making this an OUTSTANDING resort and keeping it real close to Mother Nature. Love it! ❤️🙏🏼

the location is really what makes the property work. you can snorkel off the jetty and make use of the kayak to get to other nearby islands for snorkelling

SpainThe place is run more like a hostal than a hotel. Most of the time there was no manager so for any question the waiters were the only people around. Althought the food was good you have to pay like in Europe/US, so a main course is about 15eur. So be prepared to pay around 30eur/person per meal. The restaurant could be better becuase every night they only have tuna. Redsnaper was available but you need to buy a whole fish and they charge byt the weight of the fish so I did not dare to ask for one. They also lack a litle snack store in the place, there is no place to buy lets say peanuts, cockies, etc. so bring them with you. The rooms have kettles but not coffe or tea, so what's the point of having them in the room? I think for the cost you pay per night they could do better to make your stay more comfortable.
The island is very peaceful and private, with very few people. Perfect place to relax and fully disconnect. The cottages are fairly new and in very good shape. The pier is a great place to sit and see all the colorful fish in the coral reef. Early in the morning you can see turtles feeding right there. The coral reef is right there so can pretty much be in the water snorkeling all they long. Lots of beatiful fish, corals, squids, sting rays, etc. They have kayaks for free and you can go to small islands in front of the hotel. There we saw baby sharks and also black tip sharks. I was awesome ans scary at the same time. Staff were very friendy.
